I'm not sure what he was referring to and what is his religion, but in Christianity servitude to God is the expression of the truest form of freedom, for it releases you from the bondage of sin.

Christian God is true love and thus when serving Him, you live in freedom. 👆

Satan is the being that hates humankind, for it is the creation that God made in his own image. In other words, Satan's rebellion is nothing but an act of jealousy and pettiness. Moreover, Satan supports sin, actual slavery 👆
