Mah stopped. 'Who is this rugged-looking stranger?' ,he thought.

Lance watches carefully at the stranger while still keeping his attention focused all over the room.

He notices Master Gundark step towards the man.

The man looms over all of you.

"That's a LOT of people carrying interesting weapons..." he says. "Perhaps you'd care to tell me where you got them from?"

I have a bad feeling about this... Gundark thought to herself. She kept her arms at her sides, palms out. "It would be best if you moved along, stranger," she told him pointedly. "Our business here is not with you." The man either did not recognize her as a Jedi or chose not to. They didn't need a situation like this now.

Lance glances once more around the room, eyeing every local and non-local alike.

He keeps his mouth shut though, to let MasterGundark take care of the diplomacy.

*Sieri also waits*
This guy's gonna be trouble!

Gundy, the man fixes you with a stare. He has a HARSH mind.

"You didn't answer my question," he says, with the same tone of voice.

Gundark moved her hand to pull back her robe slightly and expose her own lightsabre. She rested her hand on her hip and stared back at him. "I am Jedi Master Kellan Gundark." She moved her index finger on her left hand ever so slightly, intent on her Mind Trick, wanting to avoid an attention-gathering scene. "I would ask you once again to concern yourself with your own business."

Gundy, this man's will is like IRON. Also he is radiating a great deal of hatred, aimed at you and your friends.

"A Jedi?" he asks. "This isn't Republic territory. You have no aithority here."

He reaches into his jacket...

Lance sees the mans move and senses danger.

He moves his cloak out of the way and pulls out his lightsaber.

He then activates it with an all to familiar snap-hiss.

Everyone in the bar turns towards you, Lance, as you activate your weapon.

The man does not flinch. And he pulls out of his jacket a peice of paper.

"And as I am an official law enforcement agent around here," he says, "I guess I decide whether this is my business or not."

He sure as hell doesn't LOOK like any policeman you have seen before, but that's not a blank piece of paper...

"Put down your weapon," he says.

Lance looks confused, but nonetheless he deactivates his blade and clips his hilt back to his belt. But keeps a hand near it at all times.

"Good. You're lucky I don't have you all arrested. Now, why don't you tell me what you are doing here?"

Making no actions Mah observes the ongoing happenings.

"We've done nothing to warrant arrest," Gundark said plainly. "We're looking for a fellow Jedi that may have come through here," she added. "Nothing more."

"Your friend here drew a weapon on an officer of the law," says the man, nodding towards Lance. "I can have him killed for that.

"And if this is some mercy mission, tell me why you didn't just contact the authorities here?"

"You said yourself-this is no longer Republic territory. We are representatives of the Republic and under specific orders of the Jedi Council," Gundark explained, trying to quell her growing frustration. "We answer to Supreme Chancellor Palpatine and the Jedi Council only. I should also point out to you that you failed to properly identify yourself when you approached us."

"A representative of the Republic entering Confederate territory without authorisation could be considered an act of war," says the man. "Entering the city without permission would be an act of espionage. Enough to have you all hung.

"And I think you will find I get to decide about proper procedure around here. Your friend drew his weapon while I was attemtping to show my identification. You can continue to argue this if you want, but in front of a court, not with me. I don't have time to argue.

"What is the name of your lost friend?"

Hoping to pull the man's attention off the subject of arrest, let alone hangings, Gundark revealed her compact holo-projector with its lone image of Argentis and held it up for the man's inspection. "His name is Argentis. It is imperative we return him to Coruscant as soon as possible," she explained. "You must understand we are not here to spy on the Confederacy nor take any action in these military proceedings."

"Never heard of him," says the man. He fixes you with his contemtuous stare. "Have you ever heard of a man named Kuylen?"
