USH'S GAME EPISODE II- 'REVENGE'. Dark Side Area

As the canister land on a conveyor and begin to move to one of the locations to collect more garbage, Quam cuts himself a hole to get out. Using a Force jump he leaps up, makes a salto and lands on one of the pads overlooking the conveyor belts. He then uses the Force to lift the canister with the cut from the belt and then places it in one of the overhead storage shelves. This way the evidence has been taken care of.

Quam turns and uses the Force to open the door which leads to a narrow stairway up to the major basement area. With no one in sight Quam transmits a message to Gald to notify him about his present location and tells him to hurry.
Quam senses a presence.... no more than ONE presence he's familiar with. Somewhere near.. somewhere in this palace... His Force senses are at full alert.

Here is the situation, queeq:

The lower basement areas are FILLED with cargo cannisters with Hutt markings on them. It is actually going to take you a few minutes to find the lift up at this rate.

Also you know it can't be long before Faylar's DNA tracers tell him you are here. But they aren't precise enough to give him your EXACT location so if you stay low you can try and stay ahead of the game.

It is not, of course, recommended that you start a BIG fight until your comrades are in as well

Queeq- footsteps coming around the corner, two heavy sounding guards...

(Oh, try not to kill them until I tell you waht they look like...)

Quam moved slowly and silently into the shadows between the cargo cannisters. Here he could not be seen. underneath his cloak he checked the map his scanrefs had made outside of the few metres inside the palace. He was just inside what he had gotten from so far outside. He began a check for a lift and quietly and patiently waited for the footsteps to leave again.

In that case, you don't see them, but you DO here what they say in a monotonic voice:

"Uh... you guard that area, corporal."

"Roger roger"

Huh? Trade Federation battle droids??!

Quam sighed.... "Oh no" he thought, "battle droids....ah well."

He got out one of the power amplifiers he had taken from Gald's heavy weapons. Moving quietly he fitted it to the power circuits that runs overhead of the corporal battle droid. He simply switched it on and saw the battle droid squirm for a moment caused by the superfleous power surge boosting through the cables. Quickly he took the power amplifier off and took the way the droids had come.

The droid makes a noise roughly equivalent to "unk".

Yup, the lift is THAT way. You start to head over there.

A thought hits you on the way. You turn around and look over the thousands of cannisters in the room. You look at the oblivious droid, and the cannisters, and though your Huttese isn;lt great you have a sneaking suspicion that the writing on the side says 'droids', and THEN you start to wonder about how many droids they could fit into each cannister...

Yikes! You've just walked into an enormous army!

At about this point all of you receive a narrowbeam coded transmission from Kuylen, picked up by your communicators. These messages have to be brief. It reads:

"ETA 180 minutes. Will approach palace from topside. Faylar must be trapped inside. I will seal off top, you seal off bottom, then we destroy all inbetween. My escape route only good for one. Kuylen."

Edna, that means he will arrive about the same time as your meeting with Argentis (time is passing).

(Ush, what do you want me and Rura to do?)

Quam ran back quickly and fastened the power amplifier back to the power cables. He then took out the other one he had taken from Gald and placed it on a cable leading to the other door. "there", he thought, "that'll hold them for a while when they get activated."
He then rushed to the door leading to the garbage disposal area, took out his tommy blaster and fried the controls to the door. "Can't get out that way, no one can" Quam thought. He then rushed back to the lift.

"Ah Rex! Long time no see! And I also see things haven't progressed too far your end. Met someone who may be of interest to Kuylen though. I have to meet with him soon. Somehting about a deal he has to offer me. If queeq is already finding a way into that place thn what we really need to do is find a route off this place. Take a look around. Meet some poeple. See if you can find anyone who has clearance off this rock. Remember there are 6 of us, possibly seven but we'll see. It won't be easy but do your best. If we can't get off this rock then we are all as good as dead!" Edna wishes him luck and starts to head towards a rather run down looking cantina. She turns back. "Oh and keep in touch. You know my frequency!" Edna goes into the cantina.

"Six? Last time I counted it was five..." Gald says, but then enters the cantina after Edna, hoping to find any means of transportation off of Damagran. Gald looks among the crowds of creatures and people. He picks out a crowd to search through and walks up to them. "Hello there," he says politely. "Do any of you have transportation off of Damagran? If so, do you mind if I pay my way onto that flight?"

(Of course, queeq, the army does not appear to be active yet, sealed in the crates and everything)

Rex, you are being laughed at. No-one has any transportation off Damagran! The bloackade makes it impossible! The Republicans search every ship that leaves.

There are a lot of Faylar's men around here. They seem to be hanging around nearby the Hutt ship.

(yes rex 6. I am assuming Ricult or whatever his name is is still playing)

Look, never mind the numbers, just tell me what you are doing!

Gald sends a menacing glare at the people, which makes their laughter cease, and they slink off to the bar. "I think we should try and steal something, preferably a ship," Gald says to Edna.

Same problem, Rex. You can't get past the blockade, whether you have hitched a lift or if you have stolen a ship!

After a while of searching, Gald says "This is hopeless." He walks out of the cantina. "Maybe that guy that you're supposed to meet will give us transportation."

"No Gald I doubt that very much. Look just keep trying and let me know your progress" Edna calls to him as he leaves. Edna stays by the bar and orders a quick drink whilst looking round for some scruffy looking smuggler sorts.

Well, there is ONE... oh, wait, that's Balek. Hmmm...

Gald, seeing some guy approaching Edna, backs into the shadows, unholstering Rura's pistol.
