He is talking about something which you DO NOT SEE. There was only on because he said "That is not for sale." You cannot see whether it is taken out of the box or not (as far as I can remember) so therefore you CANNOT SEE the object. He is not talking about the things that looked like coins.

now that dd is dead, Mconagal is headmistress. Who becomes head of Gryfindor? My guess is Hagrid. Any ideas??

I dunno. I personally think McGonagal will stay head of Gryffindor as well as headmistress.

I have to go with Phantom's idea...I can't really remember but I don't think Hagrid was even in Gryffindor to begin with.
