I understand that giving child birth is an excuciating amount of pain. I myself would put it up there with getting kicked in the nuts for about 6 hours straight. But most women, who don't know what a nut shot is like, would just brush it off and say "nah...it's not child birth."

Getting shot in the stomache is one of the most painful things that can happen to a person. Need i include a possible 2nd shot to the stomache.

Child birth...as painful as it may be. It not nearly as fatal as an assualt rifle wound to the stomach. though it may be considerably similar in the pain department.

And concentration varies from individual to individual. I'm will to swallow my pride and admit the possibility that the best female is better than a male....but not by those numbers.

By seeing better, 🙄 no one is talking about the sharpness of the sight, please, but we do indeed, see better....colors too.

The reason females hear better than males, is because females have a bigger center in the brain which regulates talk, language, as well as hearing 🙄

studying for a Sociology degree and having one are two different things. But you're excellent at putting words in my mouth. since you're a lawyer right?

I like the reasoning you used for the colors and the hearing. So, if women have 2 x's that enables them to be twice as efficient? Then by that reasoning, since males are larger humans, they have larger censory receptors...i believe the words is...than females. Though that would not support your reasoning.

My point is, just because you have 2 of something, doesn't make you 2x as good as someone else. Everyone's different.

Link, having two X chromosomes is very different from having, say, four ears. Having two X chromosomes makes what you already have work better, while having more of something does not. Now, having two X's also has its disadvantages... Like in most cases, women are the ones who pass on genetic defects/diseases... Baldness for example, if your mother's father was bald, you almost certainly will be. (assuming you're a guy of course)

And Shaber, women aren't born with the same physical capabilities men have, but I think that most of them are probably capable of working up to it...

No it's not an insult, i try not to insult you because then i'd be on your level. I was just stating that you obvioulsy get hurt over the simplest things.

You don't have genitals like men do, it's the only physical pain a man can compare with a woman, and since i try to understand that a female endures quite a large amount of pain during child birth, i increased the number of physical attacks on a males genitals in order to compensate. I also did this because i understand that child birth is not a "quick pop" out of your body, it's a long, grueling task. hence 6 hours worth of constant attacks

BUT you wouldn't hear any of that because it's impossible for any man to EVER feel pain like child birth. who's being the ridiculous one...

I think there is no point pretending that women can be as strong as men when relative fitness of people who have made the same effort are compared. Whilst women can become very fit and strong, they are still not going to be as fit and strong as the fittest and strongest guy. It's just the way we are built. Hence, even in a world which recognises no social gender divisions, where women are every bit as likely to indulge in fitness, rather than staying at home doing 'girly' things, we would still see far more men than women pass such a fitness test. More men who put x amount of effort into being fit will past that test than women who put x in also. Our genetic differences cut both ways- women are worse in some areas as well as better.

I don't have any military training or have much knowledge about military conduct. But the idea of women fighting in the frontline may not be a good idea in our present time. Maybe in the future when technology is much more advance women should be in the frontline ready to fight.

For soldiers being in the frontline is not an easy thing. Have you consider privacy issues? Like taking a shower or going potty. From what I understand soldiers in the frontline have to share the same facilities and cannot venture to far from their posts.

Also the time you spend in the frontline could be a factor. Sometimes male soldiers spend months in battle. There are times in which they feel depressed or lonely, do you think that order will be maintain with females next to them?

The idea of females in the military is fine by me. But the idea of them fighting in the frontline is not. As I said before, in the future when we have develop more technological weapons women will belong in the frontline. Until then I don't think is a good idea.

Indeed, i get what you are saying, also, if a man puts x amount of effort, woman would have to put xx amount of effort to be at the level requered, no one is danying that. 👆

sure if women want to be in the frontline they should be allowed to be there. I agree with ush on the fitness thing tho.

I'd love to agree with those who feel women do belong on the front lines because i think women are physically and mentally capable of being good soldiers, but i don't entirely agree because of something i read earlier in this arguement.

Anyone ever seen The General's Daughter? that Travolta film where there's a female cadet at West Point and she ends up getting raped and abused by her fellow cadets and squadmates. I'd really love to be optomistic and believe that women soldiers wouldn't get harassed or abused sexually by their own country men, but some people are just creeps. A couple of months or years away from family, and pretty much females in general will make you do some stupid damn things....rape or other forms of sexual abuse wouldn't surprise me.

I was once told (and I think I posted this before) about a female who tried to join her local Fire Station. She was not accepted because she failed to carry a 100 lbs bag of sand down a ladder. She brought them to court, won, and became a fire fighter at that station.

If a women is capable of fulfilling all of the qualifications of, well, anything... then do it! Go ahead! If you cannot meet the specs., then sorry.
