I totally agree. They under estimated the Pistons at first by thinking they were too good already.
i didnt pay attentition to what sheed coz i couldnt get my eyes of his headphones....those things were so damn huge...probly louder than the speakers in my car

He just needs to learn how to talk to the media. ANd he totally downplayed his performance last night. That was pretty much his most significant good performance thus far. It's pretty safe to say they would have lost if Sheed weren't playing. It's game 5 of the NBA Playoffs and he doesn't think it's the biggest win of his career thus far....how's the possible?
coz its sheed...he's probly lookin at it that they didnt beat the lakers yet so if he doenst have a ring how could that the biggest win of his career when he didnt win anything yet....he might have down played his performance coz he knows he's capable of scoring like that and that was the 1st time he took over a game since the post season started...i dont know if he was pickin on slava but he patted him on the ass so i dont think he was talkin sh#t as soon as he patted him on the butt slava squared him up...i dont know what the hell slava was thinkin when he got in sheeds face
I didn't even see Slava look in Sheed's direction. All i saw was Sheed running that infamous mouth of his. He won't have a repeat performance tonight. He's actually a highly overrated player because he lets his emotions control his game instead of his game controlling his emotions.
Sure you could e a Detroit fan and say he's been off, but he's been forced into bad shots and decisions by Karl just as much as Prince as disrupted Kobe's game. If Sheed could learn to just shut up and play....he very well could be one of the 50 greatest in the NBA. Instead he'd rather come across as some thug. Which no one in the NBA is...
sheed is the most misunderstood player in the nba....all he wants to do in his win.....he has more passion for the game than anyone in the nba and people say he comes off as some thug coz he doesnt like the media or handle the media very well....a ton of great players didnt like or handle the media very well...i see nothing wrong with that coz the media will like you one day and completely turn on you the next
I understand that. I an agree that he is very misunderstood, but the guy can take no praise. His whole press conference was negative.
The guy needs to stop acting like such a complete hard ass and just smile for once. I know that spot on his head makes him angry, but come on now....he's going to be a champion later tonight. (probably) He could atleast be happy they have continuously layed the spank down on Los Angeles.
I actually don't like Wallace too much myself. He seems more likable since joining Pistons, but as a Blazer fan, I've wanted to get rid of him the last 3 years. He was sort of a punk. There was the Ts, the way he treated the media, the marijuana smoking with Damon, his tantrum that caused Sabonis to retire the first time, and him throwing the ball as hard as he could at Boumtje Boumtje's head didn't help either.
I just find it amazing that Larry Brown can keep this guy from becoming a cancer on his team. Sheed has always been a good ball player, but much like Rickie Davis...he's the guy that doesn't make the players around him better.
I think he works out on the Pistons really well because he's at his best when you give him responsibilities...not roles to play. He's a great addition to that Pistons team.
believe it or no larry brown looooves sheed...he's a tar heel so brown takes more exception to him than most coaches...as for him not smiling i've seen him smile quite a bit this year like when he guarenteed a win in indy and they won... your see him smile tonight if the pistons take this....as for him not being a good leader he has done some things in detriot that would say different and he can make other players better if he can score i know malone is doing a good job on but like i said before he's been struggling all post season even against the bucks when he had van horn on him and van horn cant play a lick of defense
something tells me that if the pistons take tonights game your gonna be posting and bragging how they won but where were you during the rest of the postseason? how come your just posting now that the pistons are on the brink of winning a championship...i coulda used some pistons fans earlier in the postseason to backup me on how good of a team they where when i kept getting into arguments with how the pistons could beat teams in the west
