Originally posted by TheFilmProphetI do agree with you they should have never made another movie, however you know how it works, they think it is going to be a good idea up until it hits the box office. Now to end the story completely they are going to have to make another one and I hope this time that they end the dang thing forever. I am not saying it is going to happen, but you never know these days.
😆
I really hope they don't do a movie, but this is the way I'd want the plot if they did it...
The Terminator from T2 is sent back (somehow, I'm not gonna work out the details) knowing everything from the end of T2. When it is sent back, it erases all that happened in T3. What happens now is that John Connor, who is now a government agent, has to be protected by the T2 Terminator when Skynet sends a whole crapload of NEW Terminators back, not T800s, T1000s, or TXs. They wouldn't have the ability to do what the TX did or anything, they'd just be ruthless killing machines. Essentially the movie is the government and Connor w/Terminator against a mass of Terminators. At the end, everyone sees what will eventually become, so any ideas of creating a Terminator are eradicated and the war never exists.
It has to end in the future, meaning that the show would have to open when John first sent his father back to the past. Then we would jump ahead in time again to when John reprogrammed the second Terminator and sent him back in time, then again we would have to jump forward in time to when there was one of the big wars where John ends up getting killed and his wife ends up reprogramming another terminator to send back in time to protect her, and it will be from there when the story picks up, and the war will finally come to a big conflict and the human race wins the war over the machines and then it will be at this point when the film will end for good.
The movie is said to start filming in 2006 and is going to be released in the summer of 2007, let us just hope that this will be the final, the end of this war.

SHOULD be, but how many movies make like 10 sequels; even though only the first movie was good.
Thats a good point.
Ex. Nightmare On Elm Street, Friday The 13th, Batman, etc.

You forgot about John's kids. 😉

So, no Arnold? How the hell are they going to pull that off?Still anxious to see it nonetheless. What about Kristana Loken? Anyone know if she's returning?
Actually Arnold might be in T4, but they sad it will likely be a small role though. Loken won't be in, but Nick and Danes will almost certainly be in T4.

I have pondered over that issue many times, and I come to the conclusion that if John did have children it would have been mentioned in last movie, Terminator 3. We all learned from that movie that John in fact was married but there was no mention of children. I am going to have to really put that aside and in my mind would guess the reason they didn’t have children was because of the war that was coming.

It wouldn’t be impossible for them to have children during the war, because if you remember John’s dad told Sara that he was born after the war had started so there is a possibility that they could have children. Good call though, I guess we all will find out in the end.

I don't know if you realize this, but Arnold (T-850) mentioned John having kids in T3 and said they would play important roles in the war against the machines too. So in result John's kids are already part of the Terminator story regardless of whether or not they put them into the one of the films.
