"I am no fool, and I would not poison you, especially with Dumbledore as Headmaster." said Ohfman, looking hurt.
"Fine, but beware: more Vampires are about, and they attack at will. Dumbledore is about to announce a curfew-except for Potter, and the other Prefects, because they, and the teachers, are supposed to patrol at night."
"Yes, so you are to report tonight for your duties, and for a lesson in 'Defense Against the Dark Arts'-simple, yet effective spells, curses, jinxes, etc." called he after the two.
"Why don't they trust me?" he said aloud, continuing.
But deep, deep inside, he knew.
They knew.
Atleast on some unconscious level of their minds, they knew he was himself a Vampire.
Yet I reformed, and none believe me.....except Dumbledore.....
Lucuis glared at her. "look, I have no need for this."
"The bloody hell you don't"
"Such profanities are not becoming of a young lady." he said his lips turning into a sadistic smile. HIs words seemingly dipped in venom.
"Neither's beating the crap out of you. What is the meaning of this?" she said pulling out the letter.
"Just what it says."
James yawned, checking his watch. He'd probably get going to DADA class, like Ohfman said. He turned to the cousins. "Erm, yeah. Lydia, you should probably stay here with your cousin for now, I've gotta get going to that stupid class, then take my shift. See ya," He said, running off to the DADA classroom.
