James' eyes wandered about the room. this was BORING! He yawned again, his head supported by his hand, elbow on the dest before him. He couldn't wait for this to be over.

Lydia glanced nervously at Lily. "Kay." she said before paying attention to ohfman.

James giggled again at Lydia's shyness towards Lily. It was very amusing to him...

Lily playfully nudged James with her elbow. He looked around to see who did it. His eyes rested on Lily. That's weird she never does that sort of thing, thought James.

James gave Lily a look that purely read, "What the hell is wrong with you?" He grinned at her.

'What do you think?' she mouthed at him. 'Its from being around you to long.' She pointed toward him.

Lydia silently watched the two. they were so obvious. She glanced at snape and felt a tinge of pity for him.

Jame stuck his tongue out at Lily. "It seems I'm rubbing off on both of you!" He whispered to them quietly, smirking.

Lily shook her head and dismally watched the proffesor. She furrowed her eyebrow at James and continued with her work.

The raven haired boy yawned yet again, clearly growing tired. Why was this taking so long? Why could they just start patroling and get it over with? Ugh...

(I gotta go. Bye!)

(Bye!)

Lydia sighed. Snape wasn't a jerk like the other gryffindor's had been. He had never been mean or uttered an unkind word to her. She wondered why James and his friends hated the slythrin prefect.

James noticed lydia's eyes were set on snape. He giggled, then whispered to her.

"Oooh, thinking of cheating on Remus already?" He smirked.

Lydia's head snapped turning her gaze on James. "No, never. I mean I couldn't. I wouldn't." she stammered.

James giggled again. "Come on, tell me!" He pestered, poking her.

"Seriously, potter, nothing." Lydia promised. "I would never do that to Remus."

James sulked, pouting. "Fine, don't tell me..." He muttered.

Lydia sighed. "What do you want me to tell you, potter?" she asked in a low voice so not disturb the class.

James nodded eagerly, grinning. 'Spill it!" He said, slightly loudly.
