Comic of the month!

Testing what, might I ask?

This month I nominate Invaders #2 as a great comic. Action, comedy, new characters, old characters reintroduced, and a surprise ending.

the power to cloud mens minds...

nah.... I know how to do that

well i cant wait till wednesday to read issue 5 of astonishing x-men and excalibur. both teams from each comic are assembled, and ready to go against the forces of evil.

OH MAN Identity Crisis just gets better and better!

Yes it does. I can't wait for the next part.

Anyone know if Collusus's return is going to affect the other X-titles? Are all the titles connected, or what?

They are all related in that they are all based out of the school in Westchester, and we see members from other teams from time to time in other books. I'm sure it will be mentioned, in other books, as he has good friends on each of the other teams, but my guess is he'll be sticking around in Astonishing for a good long while.

Captain America Dissasembled #29

I haven't been a big fan of that title lately. I find Kirkman's writing to be fairly trite. It's all nostalgia value and nothing really exciting. Red Skull is back...again. Diamondback is back. SHIELD has been infiltrated and undermined by the Red Skull...again. Diamondback is a villian...again. His Cap is way off character and it's just campy. IMO Priest has been doing wonders with the Captain America character over in Cap and Falcon. Intelligent, engaging and funny stories with the characters pretty much dead on. And Joe Bennet's art is magnificient. Bennet didn't really impress me on Hawkeye awhile back, something just seemed off, but I loved his work on The Crew, and he's even better here.

My fave comic this month has been DD 65 - 40 year anniversary special. Its nicely done. Greetings all you new people. Theres only a few people I can remember still here.Venomfan you slobberin beast, hows the slobberin' goin'? Ive been busy keeping this city safe since I got my new job(as a copper). good to see some good discussion going on as usual! IM BACK BABY!

topic.

😂

*sigh* ok ok...

I've been enjoying Marvel Knights Spider-Man. I've always liked Venom, but have never been a hardcore purist for the character, so I'm wondering what some of his big fans are thinking of the new angle for the character as of issue 7.

There was also a mention of Ben Reilly. Could this be foreshadowing? Probably not, but I'd like to think so *sigh* as long as they could dodge the rest of the clones business.

Invaders 2 was very good this month as well. Jacobsen has almost no idea what decompressed story-line means, and I love it. Something actually happens every issue! Check it out, and issue #3 next month, which wraps up the opening storyline.

marvel knights spiderman is awesome

ben reilly made an appearance in the ultimate spiderman comics a while back, they gave him a color change a la ultimate nick fury, i wonder if ultimate scarlet-spider would be making an appearance anytime soon?_?

anyway, i just finished reading secret war #3 of 5 and imo its a-mazing, the art and the writing are top notch
