yeah, im a huge fan of mark millars stuff so i'm just hoping he has the right idea for an ending brewing in his mind
hush was a great comic, but just like indentity crisis the conclusion sucked, i mostly liked it for bringing back a true batman, the story was great, and the art was amazing stuff
did anyone read about dc's answer to marvel's "ultimate" series? its called "all-stars" and its basically in the same sh*t as all the other comics just with all-star put in front, what im most excited about is jim lee's run in all-star batman
I think so too. Dodson's very good, but I don't know if it could fit with necessarily every character.
As always, Captain American and the Falcon was good this month. Sadly it is Bennet's penultimate issue, with Dan Jurgens coming on as artist for issue 13. I love his art, his costume's especially. The way he draws them they look better, a more realistic fabric texture look to them, imo.
Priest of course delivers a great story. Valuable characterization, tied into the plot, the right amount of doodads, plot twists, action and smart work. He can do anything, as with this arc, he's turned MODOK into a viable, dangerous and scary villian.
Next month: Young Avengers! I don't know if anyone looked at my post in the thread about them a little while ago. A preview was posted online, and was actually very interesting. I'm pretty excited about the series, and Cheung's art is gorgeous.
Sales aren't what they could be. I've heard from the writer that Marvel plans to keep using it's Golden Age characters, and they have plans for the Invaders, but at the moment fan reaction isn't as strong as it could be. The first couple issues sold well, but I think the different art and coloring style alienate a lot of people.
So snail-mail them here (real mail gets the attention of over 100 e-mails)

And tell them how you feel. It worked for Spider- Girl. This is mainly a pre-emptive strike, but being careful never hurt anyone.
