Sorry people! I've been occupied with writing other storys and such that I forgot about Spider-Boy! here's the next bit:
The days seemed to drag on as they entered summer. Terry's consiounce made him turn around nervously when he heard any sound that would alarm him. He mainly kept to himself and whenever he changed into his costume he kept a close eye out for Cernol Doom and his evil minions. The walk home from school on a particular rainy afternoon on Friday wasn't all to enjoyable, for one, he got the disturbing feeling if though he was being watched. With every step he took another hair rose on the back of his neck. For another his clothes were soaked head to toe. As he walked through the park he grew more aware that somebody was following him. But whenever he turned around nobody seemed to be there. 'Am I going crazy?' Terry thought to himself. 'I must be, there's nobody foll-' PHING! a bullet rebounded off the metal lampost infront of Terry. Somebody was after him now. His spider-sense coursed through his brain giving him the instinct to sumer-sault but risisted the temptation as it would look to suspicious. He ducked as another couple of bullets ruffeled his hair. He caught a brief glimpse of his stalker. He or she was hiding in the park bushes several yards away and was dressed in a hazy-brown trench coat. Terry sprinted around the outskirts of the pond, not going at full speed incase anybody was watching, and also it was raining so hard he was in danger of triping over. 'I've gotta find somewhere to change!' he thought, he had to take out this guy before he hurt anybody else. But there was nowhere to go, with no alleyways in sight he was stuck as regular Terry Williams. He pulled off a spectacular dive behind as tree as bullets grazed his clothes. They were getting a little too close for comfort. Picking up the pace, Terry sprinted through a clump of trees looking behind for any sign of his attacker. But all he saw were more bullets cutting through the aftrenoon air aiming for Terry. This was getting was too dangerous. As quick as lightning the attacker leaped out from his hiding place and chased Terry through the park, shooting more bullets from his hand gun. Terry knew what this was about, Cernol Doom must have sent somebody after Terry to assinate him or to find more proof that he really was Spider-Boy. Terry looked right and left to make sure nobody else was around, relising him and the assasin were the only ones around a small grin spread over his face. He jumped high into the air and grabbed a tree branch. Like a professional acrobat he swung around the branch then let go, hurling himself behind the assasin. Before he had a chance to turn around, Terry leaped foward, feet first and collided with the assains back. Sending him flying through the air and landing in a thick puddle of mud. Terry took his chance to change and did they only thing he knew he could do. He jumped foward and dived into the icy water which filled the pond. Before braking the surface with his head he pulled off all his clothes and yanked on his mask and gloves. With his civilian clothes at the bottom of the pond he released a webline which cut through the water like a hot knife going through butter and broke through the surface of the water. When it clung onto something Spider-Boy gave it a small tug, the impact hurled him through the water and through the braches of a small oak tree. He clung onto the braches and crouched down. The assasin was back on his feet, "So you really are Spider-Boy, are you child?" he asked.
"I don't know what your on about,' Spider-Boy joked, ' but tell me who you are now!"
"I am Vortex a deadly assasin, and a close friend of Cernol Doom's, he hired me to kill you."
"Why? is he to weak to come get me himself?" Spider-Boy asked.
"Wise guy huh? well I'll put a stop to that! come!" Vortex ordered. It appeared that he had a small jetback behind his trech coat, with a burst of flames he sailed through the air and onto the top of a near-by building. Using his outstanding strength, Spider-Boy jumped as high as he could then released a webline and pulled himself to the side of the building. He scaled it within seconds. "So what now?" Spider-Boy asked.
"Now.......you die!" Vortex answered with a note of anger in his voice. He took off his trench coat to reveal a costume simliar to that of Cernol Doom's but not as good. His body, although muscular, was not as bulky as The Cernol's. Showing incredible speed, Vortex sprinted towards Spider-Boy with a dagger in his outstreched hand. Spider-Boy ducked quickly then grabbed Vortex around the torso and hurled him up into the foggy air. Vortex landed on his back, gasping for air. Spider-Boy didn't waste a second. He curled his fingers into a tight fist and bought it down upon Vortex. But the cunning assasin was to quick for him. He rolled out of the way. Spider-Boy's fist impaled the ground and sent cracks jaggering through it. Vortex let out of cry of rage then sent three painful kicks into Spider-Boys ribs, the momentum sent him flying foward a few feet, landing on his stomach. He quickly felt his ribs to make sure they weren't broken. He didn't have much time to check, his spider-sense told him that a rocket was coming his way. He sumersaulted high into the air and the rocket collided with the roof of the bulding. The blaze blew away a massive chunk of the roof. The powerful force sent both fighters sailing through the raindrops and crash landing on the roof of an apartment building. While Vortex was still on the ground Spider-Boy hit his face with a nasty left-hook. The man was sent flying against the wall which was an upper floor of the apartment off to the side of the building. Vortex groaned then tapped a button on his belt. Two rockets were released from a watch on his wrist, one after the other. Spider-Boy flipped high into the air, avoiding both rockets. A small contraption on Vortex's wrist was a type of gun designed to let out blasts of high pressured air. Two blurry blast flew towards Spider-Boy, but the clever child stuck out his feet and the impact made him back-flip off both of them before landing on the roof again. Vortex rose to his feet and released a frenzy of punches and kicks. The battle raged on for many more minutes. Almost giving up, Spider-Boy fell down onto his knees. Vortex came up behind him ready for the next attack, but Spider-Boy was sick of games. He let off a powerful back kick which collided with Vortex's Jaw. He flew backwards and over the side of the building. Spider-Boy heard his crys become fainter and fainter until the only sound was a sickening crunch of Vortex landing on the footpath in a big bloody mess. He was surely dead. Not wanting to hang around incase of the police, Spider-Boy pulled back his two middle-fingers and released a sticky glob of webbing, then swung away.
MORE LATER.
Hi Stormy Day! as I understand you're still reading this even though you're banned.
I know I haven't posted the next piece in AGES and I'm sorry! but don't worry! I will finish this story! I am going to change the starting to make it very orginal and very different then Spider-Man.
If you have questions or comments SD then e-mail me at [email protected], that is my brother's MSN address because mine is currently un-available, he will tell me if there is mail for me. See ya SD!
More of the story soon, I'm still deciding on the changes. 😄
Okay, finally here is the starting, rewitten!
I have changed some of the names of the characters. I've made it as original possible.
Here it is! from the start!
The bright New York sun shone down onto the streets of Manhattan as usual business workers went about thier daily routines. A bright, yellow school bus rumbled along, containing a bunch of junior-high school kids. Sitting in the back row were three ordinary eleven year-olds. "So, what do you think?" Terry Williams asked his friends as he pulled from his pocket a brand new pair of circular reading classes. Terry was a kind, ordinary boy who had more to him then others thought. He had a dark and troubled past. When his parents died, he was sent to live with their best friends. Terry had shiny, light-blue eyes and thick, dark-blonde hair. "Your such a nerd Terry!" Sora Johnson joked. Sora was one of those typical eleven year-old girls. She was a beautiful thing, which caught a lot of boys’ eyes. She tossed her long light-brown hair over her shoulders and stared at him with her warm, brown eyes. "Come now, leave him alone." Kurt Jorkins said. Although Kurt and Sora were not related, they both did look something alike, for Kurt had both brown eyes and brown hair. Terry shook his head miserably, hastily stuffing his glasses back in his flannel, un-buttoned shirt, a red T-shirt lay beneath. "They're just for reading..." he mumbled.
"Oh Terry, Calm down! It was just a joke,” said Sora, rubbing his back gently. Sora, Terry, and Kurt had all been friends since they were six years old; they had gotten to know each a lot since then. But as they're personalities began to peek through, their relationship began to brake apart and not seem as strong as it use to be. Each of them knew this and dealt with it in his or her own way. The bus slowed to a stop outside the Manhattan Research and development centre. Terry stood up quickly in his seat. He had been waiting for this day all his life. A bright student as he was, Terry had taken a liking to genetics, and biology, that sought of stuff. On thier school trip they were going to be given a demonstration on plasma rays and how they can affect the genetic code of certain animals, such as spiders. The class assembled outside the bus, many of the students pulling baseball caps from their bags and jamming them on their heads. "Sorry,' Terry apologised, nudging somebody as he walked by. "Hey Terry." said a familiar voice.
"Oh Kayleigh! Hi," Terry blushed. Kayleigh and Terry had been friends for a couple of months, and since then both had developed a small crush on one another. Who wouldn't? Both were quiet attractive, Kayleigh had her shiny, smooth blonde hair which smelt like fruitloops, her lime-green eyes topped it all off. Terry opened his mouth, hoping to say something but instead an odd gurgling sound erupted from his mouth. "Outta' they way, dork!" a large and muscular student knocked Terry sideways. It was Conan Barbers. He was known as the school bully, so many feared him that he had been dubbed 'Conan the Barbarian.’ But he didn't mind, he loved that name. There were few students who stood up to him, Curt was one of them. That's why it paid to have him as a friend, Kurt was tall and strong, unlike Terry. Terry felt so weak and helpless; Conan had big, bulging muscle, while Terry had scrawny toothpicks for arms. "Come on stud!" said Sora grabbing Terry’s hand and pulling him along. “Bye!” Terry waved nervously. “Alright guys,’ their teacher Mr. Simmons put a finger to his lips, signalling for quiet. “You’re here representing the school, show your manners and be courteous. Anyone who disobeys will be sent back to school immediately.” He warned. The class knew by the tone of his voice that he was very serious. Soon, they were taken into the research centre. The centre was decorated to look like a space expedition or something. The class assembled near an aged scientist with a thick patch of brown hair atop his head. “Welcome to the Manhattan research and development centre, here we learn about the genetic codes or certain animals and how we can improve their abilities.” Most of the class had tuned out by this point, all except Terry who seemed immensely interested. “I think we’ll split the class into two groups. One group will go off and see genetic construction, and the other will be shown a demonstration to do with plasma beams.” There was a murmur of excitement throughout the students. Terry was separated from Kurt and Sora, but they agreed to meet up after. Terry’s group were taken off in a different room. It was a fairly large room split into half, separated by a wall with a huge window in it. Beyond this wall stood a small metal pillar. Terry peered through the window and saw strange sought of guns sticking out from the walls. It wasn’t until everybody from Terry’s group was in the room that they noticed a control room to their left. “Okay! Everybody here?” said one of the scientists in a jolly voice, he rubbed his fingers together gently. “Here you will see the genetic reconstruction of a spider. These gun-like machines in the other room send out plasma beams, which cause a green-like dome that completely rebuilds a spiders’ genetic code. Making it stronger, and faster then ever before.” When he had explained how they played God, he left and went into the control room. “Watch carefully!” he yelled. The students watched in suspense as a spider slowly descended on a string of web from the ceiling, it had been released from a tiny cage attached to the marble roof. Finally, the small arachnid landed on the tip of the pillar, this seemed to set off some kind of trigger. The ray-guns on the wall emitted rays of green light which struck the pillar. Within seconds, a gigantic lime-green bubble had emerged from the pillar and filled the entire room beyond the glass. The spider was caught in the very middle of the bubble. The spider begun to glow on odd sort of green, it seemed immobilised. “Doctor, we have a successful genetic transformation.” Announced one of the controllers. “Excellent!” he cried.
Terry smiled, it was a magnificent sight to see, he only wished Sora and Kurt could have been here to witness it. The glass began to shake, at first moderate, then hard. There was a buzz of alarm from Terry’s group. Panic begun to consume their bodys. “Nothing to be alarmed about children! Just a minor glitch!” the scientist tried to comfort everyone. But everybody knew that this green bubble was out of control. “Doctor! The plasma field is unstable!” cried one of the scientists.
Seconds later, the glass burst into a thousand tiny pieces and so did the bubble. A huge gust of wind sent the whole class flying backwards and into the wall. Each and every one of them slid to ground, moderately injured. Terry moaned as he got to his knees. But little did he know of what lurked on his hand. The momentum of the bubble had blown the spider through the window. Now with a faint green glow over its’ body, it scuttled towards Terry’s index knuckle. It opened it’s tiny mouth wide, and sunk its’ fangs deep into Terry’s hand. Terry yelped in pain as he flayed his hand madly, trying to shake of the pain he had just endeared. The spider feel to the ground, as motionless as death. Terry looked at his hand, there were two venomous looking holes in his skin, and it seemed to swell up unbelievably large. Terry stared at the dead creature on the floor for a moment, then left the room with his fellow class, feeling slightly sick…
