I know I'm dredging up ancient non-history here...but I had to ask. I found an old entry at Ain't It Cool in which some posters discussed a pre-SM2 rumor that there was a Kasady cameo in the movie- well, that may have been a distortion of the actual Brock cameo (which was cut). Then again, maybe not. Was there ever any intention of putting them both in cameos? That would have made the most sense, if at one point they were considering them for SM3.
There has never been talk of any Kasady cameo in any of the films; everything seen at Ain't It Cool should be taken with many grains of salt, because all that place is, is a gigantic rumor-mill with NO common-sense applied to the rumors whatsoever.
There was allegedly a Brock cameo in film 1 which was cut out. This is good, because I hate who they cast. [Don't ask me who it was, because I have nooooo idea. Saw his pic and hated it.]
for some reason i doubt venom or carnage will be in the third movie. why? because brock was in the comics before venom, and they would have made him have some small aperances in the first 2 movies.
this is what i think will happen. we all know that the goblin will be in it. im guessing that either oscorp will create the scorpion to help the goblin take out spidey, or they will hire the shocker to help take down spidey.
thats just a theory
I think basically it will either be/will involve Scorpion, Rhino, Mysterio, The Lizard, Shocker or Elektro. I doubt he will make the mistake of repeating the Goblin already, and I doubt that Venom will make it in there but will make a cameo. I also don't think any other villains are really interesting (Kraven, Vulture, Sandman...they're pathetic)
My movie would be this...
Start off with Spidey and the shuttle, and he gets the suit. The movie deals with Shocker and The Lizard or Elektro, but also with the suit and Eddie Brock. Then it ends with Shocker/Elektro destroyed, The Lizard back to Dr. Connors if he's in it, and the suit going to Brock. Then Spider-Man 4 can deal with Venom, and Spider-Man 5 can deal with Venom and Spider-Man teaming up against Carnage. Spider-Man 6 if they ever got it would involve the rest of the villains in an insane frenzy of Spider-Man/Venom/Black Cat/various allies vs all the villains. Then the series can end.
Stop bringing in Big Name stars, that's what goes wrong with movies they pay to much for Actors that cause the budget to sky rocket and decrease the chane for a profit. Witch causes re-casting parts, or no more sequels do to affordability. Take X-men they hired all those stars who end up wanting big money by the time #4 rolls around bc the movie did so well. Sure you want talent so the movie is worth seeing but not at the expence of sequel availibilty.

have you seen spiderman 2??? the ending screems goblin. and about your comment about spiderman 4, they arent making one. a bunch of the actors including kerstin duncc (or who ever MJ is) said that they will stop at 3

I think he should do Venom and if stickin close to the comics gg2 if not then hobgoblin.it would be cool.Venom is well,cool and his best friend Harry.It would be great and have MJ die i hate her.O go back to page 17 i do see a figure in the window frame maybe it is hobgoblin 💃 😄

With Spider-Man 2 hitting DVD today, USA Today chatted with director Sam Raimi to see if he had an idea about who the villain in Spider-Man 3 might be:
Having finished the Spider-Man 2 DVD, Raimi is set to begin work on a screenplay with Alvin Sargent (Spider-Man 2, Unfaithful). For now, Raimi will only name-drop some classic Spidey villians, including the Green Goblin — possibly resurrected by Harry Osborn (James Franco) — the Vulture and Kraven the Hunter.
"I'm trying to figure out what (Peter Parker) is going to be learning on this next adventure," Raimi says. "Once I know this journey and the conflicts to put in, I would choose the villain that best represents those conflicts."

Ugh..Kraven and Vulture, what the hell is so good about these two guys? I don't see anything exciting about them, and the Green Goblin again would suck, repeating a villain already after one other movie...Venom is by far the best choice, but even if he's dead set on not doing Venom, he doesn't have to put like, Rhino, Sandman, Vulture or Kraven in there....Shocker, Mysterio, Elektro, Venom, and Carnage are the best, pick out of those Sam!!!
