Official Spiderman 3 Updates & News thread

i know i want venom to be in it as bad as everyone else but im sure he wont be... i havn't read anything but this is what im guessing...... now we saw from the end that harry fround the GG suit ..and they set up for lizard tooo.... now why i dont think venom will be in 3 is cause pider man has to get the suit first so thats alot of back story to cover so i think he will get the suit fight harry...and or the lizard and then at the end they will set up for venom to be in 4

I hope Venom is in 4. He is just to cool to not put into a spiderman movie.

The Green Goblin and Doc Ock will be the villains in 3. *SHOCK*

They make it obvious that Harry will avenge his fathers death, and Dock Ock doesn't die. Also, if you watch the "Ock-Umentary" they mention he doesn't die in Spider-Man 2. I'm sure he's not going to just wander around the city with 6 arms picking up garbage.

Its been my belief that Ock did not die since the film was FIRST released, but other people namely the ones on this very forum claimed I was wrong and that he did die.

Finally someone saw the truth just as I did.

Most likely it'll be The Lizard and another villain, but I'm really hoping Green Goblin 2 isn't that. If they start repeating villains already, it'll get so boring. I think they should do The Lizard and Shocker/Scorpion, and have Spider-Man get the symbiote. That way, they can establish Brock and the suit, Shocker doesn't really need a backstory, Lizard has already been given some, Scorpion only needs a few minutes, so then in Spider-Man 4 they could have Venom.

And then of course, Carnage for the next one. Then they could finish the series off with #6 and just have a free for all, Venom + Spider-Man + Black Cat or whatever allies you want, against all the rest of the bad guys lol.

I hope they put BlackCat in Spidey 3.

Apparently she was meant to be in the second. Her part was too offer Peter a new life since he hated being Spider-Man.

I hope the movie posters for Spider-Man 3 are as cool as the 'Choice, Destiny, Sacrifice' posters.

Those three posters are so cool that I bought them and put them up in my room 😊

Yeah Raimi X'd her character out of the original Spider-Man 2 script so he could focus more on the other main characters. (Peter, Harry, Mary Jane)

It's actually better that he focused more on Harry, Peter, and MJ.

Am I the only one that isn't really impressed by Black Cat? Dushku would be a great choice for the role, but do we need her? What does she do besides look hot (hence Dushku being a great choice) lol

I have said it before: doubling the villains is a bad idea. It didn't work in Batman or Superman (I know that these are DC comics, so don't go there) and it won't work here. I will say this though: If the 2nd plot factor that they seem so hellbent on doing is the love story...AGAIN... then fine, put in a 2nd villain. If they haven't captured the female demographic by now.. they never will.

That's why I think they need to do Venom. Venom will greatly please the fans because he's a favorite, and you don't want to continue the love story as half the movie because that will be incredibly boring to do for the third time. That time spent on the love story can be used to set up Brock and the symbiote easily.

Venom will probably be in spidey 4 if they deside to make it.

It's gobby 2 and liazard in Spidey 3. I think 2 villains will probably suck, but if Rami works his majic on them who knows... (it could rock)

OK, I will admit that everyone seems to want Venom to appear in the next movie. The problems as everyone knows is introduction and story development: No secret wars, no lab. No lab, no symbiote. No symbiote, no Venom. I have read some creative ideas on bringing in Brock and the symbiote. The best so far has been the symbiote comes down on a space ship of some sort. (Please don't try the memory/ thought bubble idea to fill in the blanks!!!) 😘

Since the Venom character has been around for a while, people who are non-collectors or readers may recognize Venom, but I have to ask: Why Venom? 😕 Has everyone picked him because he is cool looking in the comic? 😕

Another thread mentioned that the Kingpin should be brought in to do a crossover. That makes a lot of sense to me. To all that read the comics, don't you remember Kingpin popping up in Spiderman, Daredevil, Moon Knight, etc. The introduction of villains would be a piece of cake after bringing in the Kingpin. 😈
