Official Spiderman 3 Updates & News thread

Couldn't figure who to quote, so i thought that I would touch on all that i can think of right now.

I remember that series from the 70's. Great show. The second that i saw the pic that was posted, the old back ground music popped into my head.

Why is Venom obvious?? This is a wish by all. I have said it before, not enough time to do that right!!!

The Lizard is cool, but a little to "low" key for me. Need more bang for the buck here.

If they go with the Lizard, he will have his lab coat. When you have a metamorphosis, you must have the common "thread" to the character, before and after,to make sense.

This is the last movie, at least as we know and love it. They make more with someone other than Tobey, then the series is done. Sorry, that just the way it is.

The trilogy is the thing. This has been ingrained into our heads as the end-all, be-all of movie making.

Killing everyone off right now to end it would be a mistake. That doesn't leave anything for a spin-off, or whatever.

Im as much as a spidey fan as anyone else but come on guys. Sam Raimi has created two films that are quite clearly CHARACTER DRIVEN!!
Spiderman isnt about some Doofus going round kicking everyone's ass. It's about Peter Parker - the high school dork everyone can relate to!

Every message board i've been on seems to be saying 'Now Mary-Jane's plot is out of the way..' WRONG! Sam Raimi has being making films about Peter Parker's life, NOT spiderman's! He says it in practically every Q&A you can find.

I think that Venom could be done (follow the Cartoon series or maybe the 'Ultimate Spiderman' plot) Peter doesn't even have to wear the suit (maybe somebody takes a sample of Pete's DNA to make the venom suit) or maybe he only wears it for a night (Like in 'Ultimate Spiderman'😉

BUT!!!!

If venom is done he WONT be the most important part of the story!!!

Its more likely that there's alot more to be said for MJ & Peter.
Felicia Hardy as the Black Cat would be a good choice. The 3-way dynamic would be good.
Gwen Stacey would be awesome! but i dont think there's enough time for her.

The number of different things Sam Raimi could do is crazy, but without a doubt his first concern wont be the villian so all this talk of dedicating a film to Venom or Carnage is crap guys - sorry

I am rooting for the lizard as the main villain and I do agree that he needs his lab coat. If you don't like the lizard who would you suggest as the main villain?

Keheheheheh... Oi oi... we don't care about the web-head, dontcha see? Why else would we be yammering on for so many pages about nothing but that?

'Asides, we know about Parker... the mystery's in the villain. who's favorite will it be? Door number 1, 2, or 3? "He'll take what's in the box, Pete!" ... we don't care about what we already know...

I, myself, was disappointed S2 didn't have enough Doc Ock... it was all Parker's little dilemma about not wanting to deal with responsibility n' crap. I don't care! I wanna see awesome CG action where the villain KICKS HIS ASS! ...But you could expect nothing more from me... a Carnage fan.... Keheheheh....

We've seen all of 4hours of his life - f00k all!

Im all up for seeing venom as the bad guy - It would be sweet, but i wouldnt want it at the expense of the story (would u want a spidey version of batman & robin! - Look what they did to Bane!!!!, oh and the bat nipples! BURNED IN MY MIND - THE BAT NIPPLES!)

Get eddie brock in, get peter struggling with MJ and harry, maybe have MJ-peter trouble because he gets the venom suit and he becomes arrogant (which would be very hard to act out! - All the other incarnations of spidey let us know what was going on in his head - the cartoon had voice-overs ALOT, its harder to convey emotions and such without these!) then get venom kicking ass, peter'll have to deal with an Enemy he's created!

JUST DONT FORSAKE THE CHARACTERS PLEASE!!!!

I have said it before.. one of my favorite villains id the Kingpin. Remember that in the comic the Kingpin isn't just in Hell's kitchen (whatever the hell that is), but runs New York. The man has power and pull. He could throw an army at Spidey and still have some surprises in store for the web-head. It is too bad that the introduction of KP was wasted on one of the worst movies ever made, but the KP is NYs biggest cross over villain

Hey, Junkie, I just read your story. Thanks for referencing the sandwich scene; it's my favorite in canon. There's not enough good Clete out there. You know FF.net does NOT approve of the hanky-panky-wankery stuff, don't you? Your story may be in jeapardy there; according to what I've heard. Hope you have back-ups. In the sym thread we're currently trying to reach a consensus on where we can/will archive our nasty work.

I can't believe the guy they picked to play the next villain in Spiderman 3. He looks like the sandman. I wonder if the smaller characters will be in the background like Harry, Eddie brock and Doc Conners?

Well, at least we knw that Harry and doc connors aren't going to be the main villains. so does anyone have any clues on who might be the MAIN villain of the film?

So Sam Raimi, Tobey,Maguire,Kristen Dunst,James Franco,JK Simmons and Rosemarie Harris would returns in the third Spidey movie.just wait!!!!!
