Does NAte have his Shaman powers? With it he wins easily. Without it. at his top form in experience and powers he wins again just with a little more effort.

Often I wish they had explored in more depth the relationship between X-Man and Cable. There was so much potential for insight and character development on both ends. But alas. It was not meant to be.

I guess I am the only fan of Shaman era. I think Ellis did a great job, he was like the mutant version of the Silver Surfer.

I think Ellis was attempting to put more depth into the character and it turned out like the last few seasons of Sliders. You wanted to watch -- but you had no clue what was going on.
