Is time travel possible?

I believe in Einstein's theory of relativity, pertaining to this situation.

When black holes connect, they create a sort of tunnel, called a wormhole. Inside this tunnel, theoretically, time may not even 'exist.' Therefore, if it were possible to travel through a wormhole to the other end, you would have been transported billions of light-years away, and possibly into another time.

well if time travel (in the sense of a controlled time travel where we could choose where we want to go) was possible then maybe we would of had a visitor from the future already? jus a thought though...

if timetravel is ever going to happen we wouldn't have tourists from the future visiting us today? Since we don't we could say that timetravel will never be a possiblity.

but of course that ignores the whole parallel universe theory 😉

My grand-grand-grand-grandson (multiplied by 60) visited me today.

I think it would be a bad thing coz (Like in some of the movies) if we go to the past and can change things there, even a small change could radically modify our life as we know it now.

If it has been modified, it already has been modified. You have no remembrance of your earlier life, because it never has happened.

If we were to, we'd just screw it up like we did with everything else. And get greedy, just like we did with everything else.. sadly, that's human nature.

Well, maybe somebody already did come back and screw up things.

We would never know because the world around us is the only world we know, so it isn't screwed up to us.

Time travel will never happen. It's in our dreams but it's impossible.

Good point, its like how do you know that yesterday actually happened?

it just means no one has invented a time machine in the future, theoretically you would only be able to go back in time to the day you built the "time machine" it wouldn't exist before that

logical enough, if you built a time machine in 2005 and wanted to go back to 2004 it would be impossible because it still hasn't been built yet, of course its all just theoretical
