. i arrived even before i left. granted i don't get to relive what exactly happened, but i got 4 hours of the same day back.maybe its just me. [/B]
I really can't be bothered trying to process that!
has anyone played final fantasy 8? theres a peice of technologie that can put past present and future together. I really think interdimensional time would be amazing, but maybe dangerous. It could destroy our earth and us. an example is that millions of years ago, not much oxygen existed, but would we actually die cos we have existed, never existed and will exist.
Silly to dig out this old conversation but it seemed interesting!
A couple of thoughts on this mess.
Someone said: "As in...if you go back in time to kill your grandma, you would be in a completely different universe or alternate reality to that which you previously lived in. Killing your grandma wouldn't erase YOUR existence, but it would eliminate the possibility of your future self in THAT reality. The idea that you killing your grandma would erase your existence would mean that there is only one universe."
"If I were to go back in time and kill my Grandfather, how could I have existed to kill him to begin with?"
Yep. If you got back in time you wouldn't actually be in your real past. It would have to be some other dimension because you were there, and you in your past is not your past, is it!
"Where would you get the energy of creating a totally diffent universe?"
I don't know. Where did our universe come from, where did all the energy come from? We don't know. My first thought to that was 'it's not a matter of a universe being created, as this parallel dimension would not be "real"', but then again is our universe "real"?
So imo practically travelling back in time could be possible, but you wouldn't end up in the past you know but somewhere all different.
But then about travelling forward in time. Like also mentioned earlier in this conversation if people have free will and the future has not been set then there is no future to travel into! You would probably disappear on your way at the point where our "now" ends, or end up travelling in our "now" with the speed of our "now" - which would make this no time travel at all. Unless that "speed-of-sound theory" would actually work in real, which would make you get to the same future that the others live but only faster. In that case I could imagine you making a loop somewhere in time and space and practically handle a ship a whole that time others "create the future". And in that case you would be surprised of how it would look like once you get there as you have had nothing to do with the course of development.

That little scribble is my idea of how the loop of the time traveller would look like in space and time. The lines on the left symbolize our normal time, the stars the start and end points. So practically the time the time-traveller gains is spent unnoticed in another dimension and he just pops into the "future" when the set period of time has passed.
Any comments anyone? I think I'm going all irrational now, it's 2.30AM here! 😆

But time travel is possible; I just travel from my last post to read yours and then to write this one. Unfortunately, it's always in the same directions and at the same rate, unless you travel near the speed of light, but that's another thread.
i never thought time travel was possible but as i done some research and looked at many different views i figured it could be a possibility.
Icke likened reality in this world as a disk in a dvd player,
'Past, prsent and future on dvd. All are happening at the same time in different parts of the same disk and what happens in on scene can affect all the rest. Thus the past can change the future and the future can change the past.
So what im saying, is the 'past' has not ceased to be, and nor is the future yet to be. Both are being played out now by those in other parts of the program. We see Stonehenge, for example as an ancient ruin from the past because that is where we are in the Matrix/Time Loop program/movie. But at another point, people are living at the original stonehenge. In one part of the program the American War of independance may just be starting and at another the 2nd world war is going on.
I know it sounds impossible that the same battle is constantly being fought, but think about it. When you have a battle in a movie on DVD or the internet, the start, middle, and end of the fighting always exists on the disk or software. It is the same with the matrix. When you spin back a movie and press play, has anything changed since you last watched it? No, and once again it is the same with the matrix unless the script is rewritten.
if anyone wants Ickes FANTASTIC book:
'Infinite love is the only truth, everything else is an illusion'
then please PM me..i'll email you a copy...it is is recent new book and its only recently been available to download. He talks about time travel and the nature of reality among other things. CHECK IT OUT!

I don't think it is, as in the 'Back To The Future' type of time travel. I know time actually slows down the faster you go, but I think the closest most of us will come to time travel is driving a car or running as opposed to walking. The faster you get from point A to point B, the faster you travelled through time. Right? Maybe?
I think is possible, once was impossible to walk in the moon, once was impossible to fly. There are ways to achive everything. And i have to say that im really surpriced that they haven´t find out the way to travel through time, of course if they really haven´t yet.

I agree, if something is possible, it should be able to be done someday. However, if the the moon did not exist, then we could never walk on it. If the past and future do not exist, then we can never travel there.
