I'm a moron and can't remember how to make a transparency (currently, the bg on my sig is white). Is there another file type I need to use, or could I just re-open the sig in PS and delete the white and re-save?

png24? I know about .png files, but you can't upload them as sigs on KMC (right?).

no, you can. just have to be under file size

Last time I tried a PNG it said no unless it has changed with the new rules. PNG 24 doesn’t display the transparency on IE though, you need PNG 8 but that is basically a GIF file.

well...i guess it depends on which version of IE you are running.

I run IE7 and I have used png24s as sigs and avys. My current avy is a png.

The site converts the images to GIF's

from what I know IE 7 will now support the alpha channel

PNGs are allowed on KMC.

However, you can use off-site images 😉
