What is the cheepest (legal) way of getting Photoshop? I want to use it for sigs and such but $600 is pretty expensive.

Should i get an old version than upgrade? Or is PS Elements any good?

🤨

When there are certain size limits on forums for signatures, how can I keep the pictures clear while keeping them at the right size limit? Because if I save it as a jpeg the pictures don't look as clear (whether or not they are good quality), and if I save them as a PNG, they are perfectly clear but are too big for the size limits...what can I do?

When you save them as png, depending what program you are using, you can lower the quality when asked to save.

I am looking to buy Photoshop for as cheap as i can.

What is the diffrence between the versions of photoshop such as cs and 7.0?

What do you all use?

I'm using Paint Shop Pro X, when I say save as a PNG, is it where it says Options? Something about interlaced/noninterlaced or optimized palette/nonoptimized palette?

I haven't used paintshop in a while, that might be it.

CS2 is the updated version, but you can create fantastic stuff with older versions too.

Take a look at Alliance's sig gallery, and you'll see what you can do with ps7.0
