If there are a substantial amount of "yes" then I'll go with it.
I doubt it would be taken seriously in the OTF. Besides, Raz has made a decision, which I haven't seen put into effect. However, the want of enough posters is clearly enough to start the TF sub-forum. It'll certainly fair better then Terminator and TMNT did.
The main point I'm trying to bring up is that why negate this?! I'm sure if it were something of any of your likings you would support it. This will neither hurt nor take up space on KMC and if it doesn't get any postage then so what? What's the big deal?

This isn't our decision though. Wish it were, we'de clean up the place, but for, I think that if TMNT and Terminator are able to get way with wasting space why not something some of us actually like? Where were all of you when the Terminator sub-forum was opened? No one raised such a big deal nor moan. Regardless, the task of renaming a sub-forum and purging all it's threads isn't on you, it's on another, so let's not make a big deal about it.

Yes, but as I've stated, we're all open to have our opinions heard. I just thought it was odd that something of small impact like the Indy franchise was given an entire sub-forum on the prime main page slot, while TF will probably get a microscopic mention that will be very easy to miss.
But what can one do?
My Suggestions
1. Favorite Smilies - Click Here To Understand
2. Be able to search the Custom Smilies by user who uploaded. The page itself states "All uploads are logged and linked to usernames.", so the basis for search is already there,
3. Dump the History forum, it gets very few posts, any history talk could be taken back to the GDF considering how few and far between the threads would be.
4. Lose the LOST forum, almost every new post is only in the stickied thread "L O S T, throw every other thread into that, move it to the proper TV forum.
5. Comic Book 'Versus' and Comic Book 'Respect' forums should be made sub-forums of the Comic Book Movies forum. Save space on the index page.
6. Remove the Terminator forum completely. Check how many posts it has and when the latest posts have been. It is a ghost town over there.
7. Foreign Cinema was a failure from the beginning. Move the threads to Movie Discussions and call it a day.

Small impact?! From the amount of attention and interest that the forum has garnered both prior to - and since - its formation, I would heartily disagree with you on this particular point!
You also mentioned "Transformers" (which now has it's own forum); surely the "Indy" franchise has equal (if not more) impact compared with the "Transformers" one (not that I'm slating that forum, or anything ...), and therefore is likely to garner more interest here at the KMC?
In any case, I think that we should all wait and see how the "Indy" forum does before we judge it, and evaluate its future; it's just been created for God's sake!

From a comparative point of view you it's hard to compare the Indy franchise to TF. It's like comparing the Matrix Trilogy to Star Wars. It's massive. We're all entitled to our opinions and I admire your respect for the Indy franchise.
However, if the TF forum is a blunder, I'll take full responsibility that I was wrong, however thank you Raz and hopefully it's here to stay.

440 posts in a week is more than a small impact? News to me.

Yes please. Its irritating looking through 10+ pages of custom smilies, when most of them are shit/duplicated.

8. Get rid of the Matrix forum, it was big back in the day, but it hasn't even had a single post in over a week. When it does get new posts it is maybe one or two, then another week before another post. When I see a thread with the latest post being in January only 11 threads down something tells me the forum is dead.

Most of those came from the main thread that was put into the forum too.So, probably only about 100 in a week, tops.
I am curious - how many posts does a forum need to accumulate in a week before it is considered to have more than a "small impact"?
Surely, considering that a) News about "Indy IV" is still very thin on the ground, b) the movie is still nearly a year away, and c) the forum is very recent (and therefore might not yet have gained widespread awareness here at the KMC), just how many posts *should* the Indy forum be seeing if it is to be deemed a success?
Also, with regards to losing the "Terminator" forum completely - why is this necessary, just because activity there has slowed of late? The forum has a very long history here at the KMC, and with both a "Terminator" TV Show and another movie on the way within the foreseeable, why is dumping it being considered?
