I wish they'd show it here on a channel that someone watched and at a convenient time.

I've watched all 3 seasons since Saturday and I actually prefer it to the UK version now. I was really drawn in by it, it's amazingly good.I wish they'd show it here on a channel that someone watched and at a convenient time.
They strayed a little bit in season 3 when they had Michael and the girls go to the mall. I want to see the show actually dealing with the office environment.

ok, this nonesense at the GDF in regards to 3000 threads on racism is driving many of us nuts.
can one of the mods please create a 'racism' thread and merge all the redundant agenda-pushing attention-seeking topics into it. you have no idea just how appreciated it would be for many of us, i assure you

I'm against forums that don't get any traffic. Some movie franchise forums do, like Harry Potter and Star Wars, as they have large fan-bases with devoted fans; everyone's seen the Terminator films, they're not life changing, not worth talking about on a regular basis, not enough to warrant a forum of it's own. It just seems pointless to keep a forum without traffic when you could put one in which would get more, even a forum on The Godfather would get more traffic than it.
Whilst I respect your opinion on this matter, I wholeheartedly disagree with it. Many would argue (myself among them) that the "Terminator" franchise does have a large fan-base with devoted fans, and that it is significant enough to warrant its own forum, as well as regular discussions. You say that they're not "life-changing" films, but that expression is clearly a subjective one that's extremely difficult to define.
The "Terminator" films have undeniably had a huge impact on modern cinema. The first was a trailblazer of a movie, an highly original, cult Science Fiction story that garnered mass appeal; and the second was literally revolutionary in its use of CGI, and in the way it executed its heart-pounding action sequences. The success of the third film then proved that the franchise still appeals to movie-goers.
In any case, the simple fact remains that a "Terminator" forum does exist (and has done so for many years now); just because traffic there has slowed of late (and, in any case, I'm convinced that it will pick up again once the new TV show and movie approach), why does it need to be *deleted*?! I'm all for the creation of new forums, but that doesn't mean the old ones (especially those that still have life left in them!) need to be binned! There isn't a space shortage or anything! And at least the "Terminator" franchise has a very real *future* - whilst a "Godfather" forum would, I'm sure, be very cool (and, again, I'm certainly not against one), the franchise is very much a thing of the past (and, it seems, it is set to remain that way).

In the short term, perhaps (though I very much doubt it), but, after a while - just like a "Godfather" forum - it would, I'm sure, become even "deader" than people claim the "Terminator" forum is now.

Thats the problem, there are no 'regular discussions'. Ignoring the stickied thread, the 7th thread had a last post in May, the top 4 threads are: a social thread (unnecessary, given it has only 185 posts), Robocop vs Terminator (98 posts, can be merged with the VS thread in the Sci Fi forum), Terminator DVDs (DVD forum), and a redundant thread asking if theres going to be a Terminator 4.

But, just to make it clear, I don't say all of that just to argue against the idea of a "Godfather" or "Office" forum; I'm just trying to defend the "Terminator" forum by illustrating how it might still have life left in it yet!
The only way the Terminator forum would gain traffic, is if another sequel was made and even then it would only be brief, it doesn't get traffic nowadays, it's a redundant forum, simple as that.

With regards to your first point, I realise the point that you (and Scythe) were trying to make, and have already explained why I do not agree with it.
And in regards to your second, I don't know whether you realise this, but a 4th "Terminator" film *has* been officially confirmed, and *is* going to be made. In addition, as I already mentioned, a spin-off TV show, "The Sarah Connor Chronicles" is also starting early next year.
For all the reasons that I have mentioned, I simply don't accept that it's a redundant forum that no longer serves a purpose! When the new TV series and movie approach (which, in the case of the former, should be in the not-too-distant future), I have no doubt that a number of 'regular discussions' will appear.

Large fan-base there may be, it doesn't exist on KMC, which is the most important thing.
Given how long the forum's been around for (and how very popular it once was), I'm not so sure about that.

Sarah Connor Chronicles is going to be canceled before the season's through.
