can we have more images in the posts? whenever i write a load of crap and use images it says that i used too many, and i have to re-write everything, and its really annoying!

I never knew this limit existed. How many images are you using??

I think it only kicks in if you try and post more than 10 images in a post, including smilies.

I think the limit is justified. I can't think of many situations where you would need to use more than 10 images in 1 post.

There are times when I will quote multiple people if I've been gone for a while and if they use a couple smilies per post and I use smilies in my replies, I have to end up deleting some of the smilies to be able to post.

Is there any way we can get more smilies per post, but leave the limit on image tags?

I suggest getting rid of smilies all together, they're inane and lack imagination.

like thats ever going to happen. no offense to certain members here, but the smile/meme-adnauseum culture of the otf is so stale and not funny that i do hope that chill's wish is granted. i know its an impossibility, but i still wish. after all it kills neurons by the trillions. maybe i should write to my congressmen

I almost agree too. The only reason I ever find a need to use a smilie is if I feel the tone of my sentence needs to be clarified. Even then, the actual need is nebulous.

I too encountered that problem, especially in rather lenghty replies and I don't really think I am very prone to using smilies. Nowadays I wouldn't care, since I use firefox/safari and I don't really ever lose text in the reply boxes anymore. But when I was still using SlimBrowser that could have been extremely frustrating, especially since I am sure that Walshy and I have extremely different ideas of what "writing a load of crap" constitutes.

Well, right now it's filled with a reference to the new Batman movie. But, it changes from time to time, and I prefer to be consistantly regarded as an ass.

Aside from that... would it be at all possible to extend the sig height pixel limit to at least 200? I'm sure this has been discussed before... so sorry for bringing it up again.

But, I don't really see what cons there could be for upping the limit a tad bit. People would have to, what, take a few more seconds to scroll down to the bottom of a page? 200 isn't enough to create a billboard effect, they don't take up a large amount of space etc.

Yeah, that they're inane and lack imagination. In the case of a lot of OTF frequenters, it actually seems to be detrimental to their writing ability.

Nah, not the smilies here, they're worth about four. I'd rather read them, than having to see a silly yellow face to represent an emotion.
