1. Spamming on the forum wouldn't be a problem if it garnered the support of the moderating staff... All they're doing currently is enforcing the rules of someone who is MIA. (Something they should really relax on in my opinion. In the past month a good few active members have been given bans... That's the way to keep a forum alive 🙄 )

My main point would be the fact that actually getting people to move to another forum while getting the traffic from potential new members is no mean feat. One that would likely fail as it would just be a stand alone message board, where this is linked to a movie site. (unless you talked to the admin staff of the main site, and came to a deal where Raz's control over their forum area is removed)

rules are rules. active or not, you're expected to follow them to at least some decent degree.
there are always ways to appeal if you feel a banning was wrong.
Active or not, if someone breaks the rules enough, they're going to get banned. And those who were banned had records a mile long. They knew it was coming.
I don't know where people get this idea that KMC is dying. There is more to this forum than the OTF. And one person constantly spamming nonsense does not count as activity.

Rules do need to be followed but if it means banning a member because they get a bit rowdy or are mean to a moderator then the ban simply doesn't have the message board's best interest in mind. These active members posting regularly is what makes members come and stay.
All I'm trying to put foreward is that moderators think about the current state of the boards and what the forums will gain or lose from the user's absence before cliking the ban button. It's a very reasonable request. Being power-junkies will not aid anyone in the long run.
Suggestion to the mods. Hey guys! Good Ole WD here...just want to ask you guys to just delete threads that are made by trolls. Don't just close them. Delete them...it will keep the park clean and looking beautiful. So just delete the trash.
Remember KMCers These are your forums...Help us keep it clean by not littering posts in reply to trolls.

The activity seems to have declined considerably over the last two years. Perhaps to do with Star Wars?
