I don't think that the not so active mods need to be replaced necessary, but perhaps there should be one additional mod. Though really, I just think that the moving and merging of some of the forums, as previously discussed, would be a very good first step.

That too needs to be done, IMO there are a few areas that need some work.

My story is quite long and boring.

The point doesn't have to repeated. It's extremely obvious we all have lives outside of the forums and we come and go occasionaly. As mention before; I was quite active, but then I took some time off for personal reasons. Just try to be patient if mods aren't around folks....

I was simply pointing out that you were a great moderator. Why you left is inconsequential. I'm sure you had your reasons.

I don't think I'd ever like to be a moderator here (Even though I would f**king rock at it. hmm) so I certainly don't blame you for retiring.

I, too, have a life outside of KMC. WD is not wrong for making this generalization about KMC's mods.

Still, I have to reiterate my previous statement that some mods, while active, are still ghost-like on these boards.

I think that was a touch of facetiousness.

Maybe....A global should be given the same access to Raz's admin duties when he takes an extended absence? Someone he trusts?

Anyone else having trouble with the quick reply at times?

It sends me a pop up sometimes saying "quick reply not available" or something like that.

I use Google Chrome 5.0 on Windows XP

For a while when trying to use the quick reply, I would get a message saying "thread not specified", but it hasn't happened in a couple of weeks.

(using Firefox on Vista, myself)

I used to have a similar problem years ago, only happened if I would hit the quick reply button before the entire page had loaded.

The globals shouldnt be the highest level, there should be a person who they answer too. If an member wants to report a global it should go to that person like an lead global or an second admin. Besides Raz who only comes on the forum once every 6 months or so.

It would be good to have a 2nd Administrator. Raz and high ranking Global Mod would work.

My suggestion:

Close the Indiana Jones Forum. All new posts that are made are not related to Indiana Jones at all but is just some small talk about pretty much everything except the movies.

Same as LOTR, I believe.

Oh and what will happen to poor little Heroes forum?

Should be closed, obviously.

4 months, to the day (depending on your timezone) since Raz logged in. 😐 Can we officially say that KMC needs a MAJOR overhaul, site wide? Admins, Mods, Forums, Avatars, etc. etc.
