The stand in administrator would not make drastic changes to the coding though. They would simply maintain the forums while implementing small changes to benefit them.
I still think moderator maintenance is the key to moving forward though. Removal of the inactive as suggested by someone else earlier and a new approach by the ineffective moderators (Not at catching socks, spammers and the like. Just their general approach which is less than constructive.) you see scattered about would serve the forums well.
Well, truth be told, I feel that the current MIA moderators, while I harbor no ill will towards them and acknowledge their contributions on KMC, need to either spend more time on the boards or offer their titles to another member who will fill the slot needed.
No doubt some people will call me out on this. All I can say is: Use your power, or pass it on. KMC needs you more than ever. Help us, or, in the most respectful way, pass on your powers to someone who will. I am only trying to help in the movement to revive our beloved forums.

Well said.
Well on certain vbulletin forums i go on members profiles have added features such as members can leave visitor messages to each other on profiles and add pictures and profile pics and also members can create user social groups for things they like, it is great for extra interaction with other members and enhances great community atmosphere and so on.

Social groups would be a bad idea. KMC is already well split between the forums. We've had many problems with cliques working together on attacking members already.
