(Kyoto. A place in Japan that has seen a lot of disaster while fighting in wars that threatened to destroy itself. A place where a man named Kenshin Himura went to destroy the evil of Makoto Shishio's plans to take over the country. Now that he was gone, Japan was in peace again, but not for long, till a boy named Tim Ouellette showed up, which triggered his reign again. He has now arrived.
(They are standing at the entrance to Kyoto.)
Tim:Kyoto. A place I never thought I'd be. This is where my life is at risk.

Tim:I trust you'll be by my side, Misao?
Misao: Of course! No matter what!

Act II:A Journey Once Taken
Chapter 17:Kyoto
(They are walking through the middle of town. While doing this, people are staring at Tim)
Tim:What's the deal? Why is everyone looking at me?
Misao: Probably because they've heard the "rumor."
Tim: Probably, but it seems a little too......quiet.
Misao:........
(After about a mile of walking)
Misao:Well, we're here!
TIm: Oh yeah, I totally forgot about this place.
(They have arrived at the headquarters and/or hideout of the Oniwaban Group)
Misao:How about you go meet everyone?
Tim:Well, you wouldn't say "meet," right?
Misao:I know what you're getting at.
(They both laugh, then walk in)
Misao:Hey everybody, I'm home!!
????:Misao!!
Misao:Hi grandpa!
(Misao's grandpa is Okina, who is about 68 years and used to be a previous leader of the Oniwaban Group.)
Okina:How are you?
Misao: Pretty good.
Okina:I see, and who are these two?
Misao:This is Tim, the boy from Tokyo, and this little girl is Heather. We found her at a village blown up by Shishio.
Okina:How terrible!! Well, she's sleeping so I guess you can lay her down in the bedroom.
Misao:Alright.
(Misao leaves)
Okina: So Mr. Ouellette, how are things? How did the journey go?
Tim:Well, it's sort of hard to explain.
Okina:I see.
(Silence)
Okina:How have you and Misao been getting along?
Tim:This might be a shocker, but we're planning on getting married.
Okina:WHAT?! (He faints)
Tim: Oro?!
(Misao hurries back)
Misao:What the hell did you do, Tim?!
Tim:I said "married" and he fainted.
Misao:That's grandpa. He faints at a lot of things.
Tim:I've noticed.
(They both laugh, then someone comes in)
????:Misao, you're back!!
Misao:Hey Aoshi!!
(For info on Aoshi Shinomori, look over Act II:Chapter 2. But here's some other info)
(Aoshi Shinomori is 26 years old and, like said in Chapter 2, quit being the leader of the Oniwaban Group because of what he went through with Shishio and other things before. Along with not being the leader anymore, he swore never to pick up a sword again.)
Aoshi:It's great to see you again. How was your journey?
Misao:Interesting and tragic.
Aoshi: Oh. (looks at Tim) Who's this?
Misao:This is Tim Ouellette, the boy swordsman from Tokyo.
Aoshi: Oh, so this is Tim. How are you doing?
Tim:Good.
Aoshi:Glad to hear it. Anyhow, I heard you're planning on killing Shishio.
Tim:......Yes.
Aoshi:Could I talk to you about it? We could walk around Kyoto while we talk about it.
Tim:Alright.
Misao:Want me to come with you?
Aoshi:No. You should stay here and look over the place.
Misao:Alright then. Be careful.
Aoshi: Don't worry. We will.
Tim:Take care!
Misao:Right!!
(Tim and Aoshi leave)
Misao: (to herself)Be careful guys.
(The streets of Kyoto)
Aoshi: So, what's the update?
Tim: Shishio is still alive, and more dangerous than ever?
Aoshi:How so?
Tim:He's come up with some new, strong techniques. I was killed by one of them.
Aoshi:You were killed?! How are you still alive?!
Tim:........Well....it's hard to explain. When I was dead, I had a dream with my parents in it and they knew I was here in Japan in another world. They knew the danger I was in and who I was traveling with, which was Misao, and it's strange, it seems like they knew me and her had a relationship.
Aoshi:A relationship?
Tim:We decided to get married after all of this is over.
Aoshi:..........
Tim:Is.......something wrong?
Aoshi:No, it's nothing.
Tim: (smiling)Okay.
Aoshi:Anyhow, back to Shishio.
Tim: Okay.
(And they continue on through the streets of Kyoto, until......)
(Back to the Oniwaban Headquarters, a masked man is outside.)
????: (to himself)Heh heh!! This will be a piece of cake!!

Aoshi: So, you're not sure where your battle will be fought?
Tim:No, not yet.
Aoshi:Hmmm.....
(Suddenly, someone appears behind them)
????:Either way it doesn't matter! Not for those people who are about to go to hell!
Tim:Who the.....?!
Aoshi:Who are you?!
????:You sure you want to know?
Tim:Tell us, now!!
????:I work for Shishio. The names Bonzo.
Tim:Bonzo?! What a weird name! And why do you look like a clown?!
Bonzo:You'll see!
(He takes a balloon out)
Tim:What the.....?!
Bonzo:The balloon is my technique!
Aoshi:What the hell do you expect to do with that?!
Bonzo:Watch!!
(He blows into it and it starts turning into the form of a minotaur beast)
Tim:What the hell?!
Bonzo:Heh heh!! Impressed, are you?! You haven't seen nothing yet!!
(Silence for 10 seconds)
Bonzo:Go Lenny!! KILL THEM!!!

(He charges at Tim and Aoshi)
Tim:Aoshi, get out of here!!
Aoshi:Why?!
Tim:You don't fight anymore, remember?!

Tim: So get out of here, or you'll be in danger!!

(Lenny slams his fist down hard on the ground towards Tim, but he got out of the way in time. Tim, during this time, appeared behind Lenny with his sword at the ready)
Tim: (to himself)He's a balloon, so he should pop very easily!!
(Tim uses his sword on him, but.....)
(CLING!!!!!)
Tim:What the hell?! He's......like metal!!
Bonzo:That's right!! Whatever monster I make with my balloons turns into metal right away, so as not to be beaten easily!! HA HA HA!!!
Tim: Dammit!!
Aoshi:Tim!!!
Bonzo: DIE!!!!!!!!
Tim: Sorry, I've already done that!!(He jumps in the air towards Lenny with his sword held up) Alright, let's try this again!!(swings sword down onto Lenny's head, but once again, didn't do nothing) DAMN!!! Nothing's working!!

(Back to headquarters)
Misao: (in the bedroom where Heather is sleeping) Heather, wake up, hurry!!

Misao:There's a fire!! We have to hurry outside!!

Misao:Yes!! Here, let me carry you!!
(They exit the room)
Misao: Okay, I have to wake up grandpa!! (She goes over too him) Grandpa, grandpa, wake up!!
Okina: Oh.....what?! What is it?!
Misao:There's a fire!!
Okina:Fire?! Alright, let's get outside!!
(Heading for the exit, the ceiling breaks apart by the fire and blocks it)
Heather: Oh no, we're trapped!!
Misao: Don't worry Heather, we'll get out!!
(They go towards the back by a window, but the ceiling suddenly collapes)

(Heather starts crying)

Okina:How are we going to get out?!
Misao: (suddenly looks up)Look!! There's a hole in the ceiling!! I can jump up and find help!!

(Misao jumps out onto the roof, trying to avoid the fire best she can, then jumps onto the street)
Misao:Alright, who did this?!
????: So, you got out unhurt?
Misao:Who are you?! Show yourself!!
(The mysterious person comes out of the alley)

????:My name is Yusaki Omeha! I work for Shishio!
Misao: Shishio, huh?! Boy, is HE EVER going to get it!!
Yusaki:Not until you beat me first!!

(Fighting poses for 20 seconds)

Yusaki:I use my fists to fight!!

(Lenny slams his fist down on the ground as Tim jumps out of the way, but suddenly....)
Tim:Huh?! Why are his knuckles lighting up?!
Bonzo: Isn't it obvious?! Knuckle bomb!!

(Tim goes flying back)
Tim:Aaaahhhhh!!!!!
Aoshi:Tim!!!
(Tim lands on the ground, wounded and bleeding a little)

Aoshi: Tim!! Uugh.....(he goes over to him) Tim, please give me your sword!! I'll fight!!

(He runs off)

(He goes over to him)

(We are shown them punching and dodging each others attacks, here and there, both getting hit by each others attacks. As this goes on, the fire is getting worse and Misao is getting worried)
Misao:How long are you planning to keep this up?!
Yusaki:As long as you are still alive!!
Misao:That is NOT a good answer!!
Yusaki:It is for me!
Misao: Someone needs my help!! Can't we settle this after that?!
Yusaki: Shishio's orders are too kill anyone I see as quickly as possible!

(Tim jumps back, then does the same thing he does for the Sword of Justice)

(The energy goes flying towards the house, and then.....)

Chapter 20:Collecting Information
(The next morning)
(Because the headquarters were destroyed, they stayed at an inn for the night and into the day, thinking that it will be their home for a while. As they were staying there, they have been thinking what to do with Makoto Shishio.)
(Outside the inn, Tim, Misao, and Aoshi are planning)
Misao: So, what's the plan Tim?
Tim: First, we gather info on Shishio from the police and the government, then we make our move.
Misao:Are you sure they'll give valuable information?
Tim:They should.
Aoshi:I hope you're right.
Tim:I'm sure they'll help. (pause) Should we get going then?
Misao: Sure!!
(They head off to the police station)
Aoshi: Be careful!! (to himself) Tim, please do your best to protect her!
(The police station)
Cop:What?! Why should I tell you?!
Tim: Because I plan on stopping him!!
Cop: Likely story!! What could a kid like you do?!
Tim: I'm no kid!! My name is Tim Ouellette from Tokyo, and.......
Cop: Did you say Tim Ouellette?!
Tim: Yes.
Cop: I'm sorry, I didn't recognize you!
Tim: That's alright.
Cop: Anyhow, what did you want to know about him?
Tim: His location and status.
Cop: I see. Well, he's......
????: How about you let ME tell them!
Cop: Huh?!
(A man in a police uniform enters)
Cop: Saito sir!!
Tim: Oh, Saito!! It's you!!
Misao: I remember you!!
Tim: So, you're still working for the police?
Saito: Yes, I am.
(Hajime Saito was, during the Revolution, leader of the 3rd squad of a group of warriors called the Shinsegumi. The Shinsegumi were a group of assassins getting rid of government people who they thought were making Japan's government worse. Saito was one of Kenshin's worst enemies during this time, till earlier this year, when Saito found Kenshin again and had a very rough battle with him. They suddenly, soon after, became so-called allies so to get rid of Makoto Shishio. Soon after, they went separate ways.)
Tim: So, you're planning on stopping him again, are you?
Saito: What else can I do?
Tim: (smiles) I guess nothing.
Misao: So, what do you know?
Saito: I heard rumors that Shishio is waiting 5 miles from here in a mountain area.
Tim: A mountain area?
Saito: Yes.
Misao:........
Tim: Is that all we need to know?
Saito: Pretty much.
Tim: Then let's go! (he starts off)
Saito: Wait!
Tim: What?
Saito: I forgot something. (He reaches for one of his swords) You're going to need a stronger sword.
Tim:You sure?
Saito: Yes. I'm sure he has become much stronger overtime.
Tim:.........
Saito: Are you up to the challenge?
Tim: I suppose.
Saito: How about you, missy?
Misao: I'll stay by Tim's side no matter what!!
Saito: .........Very well. You should leave immediately. (hands Tim the sword)

(They walk out)
Cop: Do you think they'll succeed?
Saito: Perhaps, but they do have one weakness that Shishio knows of. Let's hope they survive.

(On the road to the mountain area)

(They then come to the mountain area)

Tim: Maybe....he's on the other side of that door over there.(he points to a door built into the mountain)
(They go to investigate. They open the door and go inside. When they get inside, the room is being lit by torches on the far walls. Tim and Misao's voices echo while in the room)
Misao: Boy, this room is humongous!!
Tim: Yes it is!! A perfect background for Shishio's death!!
????: Don't you mean YOUR death?!
Tim: Hmmmmm......

Shishio: Right in front of you!!
(Tim and Misao look in front of them. What they see is a figure coming out of the darkness)

Tim: Shishio.......
Misao: How long has he been waiting? Is he really eager to kill you?
Tim: Probably......(he stares hard at Shishio)
Shishio: So, how was your journey up until now? Let's hope you enjoyed it, because it will end here, even before marrying your precious little girl!
Tim: (shocked)Uhhhhhh........
Misao: You.......BASTARD!!!!!
Shishio:Want to be first?!
Misao:........
Shishio: Then, SHUT UP!!!!!
Tim: HEY!!!!!
Shishio: Huh?!
Tim: Misao has nothing to do with you!! Your fight is with me, and if we could, I want to start NOW!!!!!

(They both charge, screaming)

(Once they cross swords, there's an explosion between the two of them, and thus the battle begins)
(Kenshin and the others)

Yahiko: Come on everyone, Tim will come back, I know it!! We should all have faith in him!! What do you say?!
All:........
Yahiko:Hmmmmm.......
Kenshin:Yahiko......?
Yahiko:......Yes?
Kenshin:You're right!! We should have faith in him!!
Kaoru: You got that right!!
Ayame and Suzume: Yeah Tim, you can do it!!
Sano: Yes he can!!
(Then someone knocks on the door)
Kaoru: I wonder who that is?
(She walks to the front door and opens it)
Kaoru:Kenshin, come quick!!
Kenshin:Huh?!
(The village where Yoshi lives)
Yoshi: I wonder where Tim is? I hope I'll see him again. He's a great friend.
(The inn)
Heather: Aszi?
Aoshi: Heh! It's Aoshi. Is there something you want?
Heather: Where's mommy and daddy?
Aoshi: They went to go......meet a friend.
Heather: Do you know when they will be back?
Aoshi: In a while. It won't be long. (then to himself) I hope.
(The battle)
(They're both swiping swords at each other, avoiding the best they can. Here and there, they get little cuts on the face, legs, etc. While this goes on, Misao is watching as Tim's life is at risk. She is praying for his safety. Then after a minute or so of excessive sword swiping, they stop for a moment)
Shishio: (out of breath) I......was right all......along. Your strength has increased.....quite a bit from our last encounter.
Tim:Uuuhhhhh.....(Tim has a flashback of it, him laying there on the ground, dead, after a slash in the back, laying in a pool of his blood) Uuahhhh......NO, NO, NO!!!!!
Shishio: It seems to haunt you, doesn't it?! Heh heh heh!!!
Tim:Uuhhh......no, it won't happen again.......IT WON'T HAPPEN EVER AGAIN!!!!!! (charges towards Shishio screaming at the top of his lungs) IT WON'T!!!!!
Misao: TIM!!!!!
(Tim swings his sword down, but misses, then Shishio punches him while unguarded, sending him flying)
Tim: Aaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!
Shishio: Haven't you learned ANYTHING?! Never attack while in a rage!!
Tim: (getting slowly off the ground) Shut up, you!!!
Shishio: So you still want more?
Tim:........

Chapter 22: Battousai vs. Manslayer
Shishio: Where the hell did you go?!
Misao: Tim?
(It's all quiet)
Shishio: (himself) He couldn't have just.....disappeared completely!!
(More quiet)
Tim: Up here, dip-shit!!!
Shishio: What?!
(Tim suddenly comes down from the ceiling with his sword pointed down)
Tim: I hope this hurts!!!
Misao: Tim!!!
Shishio: Nice trick, but it won't work!!
(Just as Tim is about to pierce Shishio, he moves to the left and Tim sticks his sword in the ground)
Shishio: Nice try!!
Tim: Hmmph......I knew you'd do that, so I decided to do THIS!!!!
Shishio: Huh?!
(The ground starts shaking and then starts cracking)
Shishio: What is this?!
Tim: I call it my Justice Shaker!!
(The ground breaks towards Shishio, hoping to bury him in the mountain floor)
Misao: WHOA!!!!! Tim!!!
Shishio: Uugh......It seems that you need a little work at this!!
(Shishio jumps over Tim, get's his sword out and swings at him. Tim quickly get's sword out of the ground, jumps over Shishio's attack and jumps back)
Shishio and Tim: Heh!!!
Misao: WHOA, that was nuts!!
Shishio: Impressive!! It was as strong as your Sword of Justice!! You HAVE gotten stronger, from our points of view!
Tim: Yes!!
Shishio: Let's see if you've got the strength to save your girlfriend!!
Tim: WHAT?!
(Shishio heads for Misao, sword raised)
Shishio: HA HA HA!!!!!!
Misao: AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
Tim: YOU BASTARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Tim's speed increases)
Shishio: DIE!!!!!!
Misao: TIM!!!!!!!!!!
(CLING)
Shishio: HUH?!
(Tim made it. As Shishio was lowering his sword, Tim blocked it with his, just as he was about to kill Misao)
Misao: (crying) Tim........
Tim: (has a VERY evil look on his face and has a really dark voice) You have NO right to kill or even touch her, your fight is with me, got it?!
Misao: Tim, are you alright?
Shishio: So, you are ready!!
Misao: Ready? For what?
(She looks at Tim's face, and see's that......)
Misao: He's........a battousai!!!
Shishio: Yes, he is now a true killer!!!
Misao: (to herself) No, am I going to lose him again, for good?!
