Chapter 23: Technique
(Tim and Shishio have returned to their starting points. Misao is on the side is worried about what may come of this battle.)
Tim: You are to not involve Misao in our fight. Got it?!
Shishio: Hhmphh!! Alright with me!
Tim: Besides, I know why you attempted to kill her?
Shishio: Hmmm?
Tim: So that my battosuai side could come out. Right?!
Shishio: Correct!
Tim: It was obvious enough! Now, enough with the talking! Let's fight!!!
Shishio: Yes! Let me taste your blade!!!
Tim: Fine!! (charge) AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(CLING)
(CLANG)

(Shishio and Tim are now pressing each others swords together)
Shishio: I'm going to make sure you and that wench die here!!
Tim: I thought I told you to stop CALLING HER THAT!!!!!
(Tim pushes Shishio down to the ground, then quickly gets ready to pierce him in the chest) GOT YOU!!!!!
Shishio: Heh!!
(CLING! Tim stuck his sword in the ground where Shishio was)
Tim: Huh?! Where'd he go?!
Misao: Tim!! Behind you!!
Tim: What?!
Shishio: HA HA HA!!!!!
(SLASH!!! Right across the back like last time)
Misao: No.......
Tim: Aaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!
Misao: ......not again.
Shishio: Just like last time, huh?!
(Tim is on the ground, bleeding and screaming in agony)
Misao: Tim!!! Let me help!!!

Misao: Please!! You're going to die!!
Tim: Misao, please!! This is my fight!! I was chosen!! I accepted, and I will beat him myself, even if I die, I will save Japan from his rule! I SWEAR IT!!!!!
Shishio: Just give up! You know you have no chance of defeating me! You of all people should know that!

Shishio: Oh, you just sealed your life! No one never talks to me like that, NEVER!!! (raises his sword) Say goodbye to your girlfriend, for you shall never see her again, EXCEPT IN HELL!!!!! (charges at her)

Tim: (to himself) NOW!!!!
Shishio: (lowering sword) AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!
(CLING)

Misao: Tim?!
Shishio: You.....blocked it!!
Tim: Damn straight!!
Shishio: And why do you look as good as new?!
Tim: A new technique I learned......from my parents!

Tim: So, ready to continue?!
Shishio: Uugh.....
Misao: (herself) Tim........he seems to have the advantage right now!
Shishio: How can this be possible?! Your strength was pretty much down!! This love thing cannot be for real!!
Tim: You are just denying it! I have the advantage now Shishio!
Shishio: You are a thorn in my side!!
Tim: Hey, you're the one who got me into this, so don't blame it on me!!
Shishio: Still, you won't die!!
Tim: THAT'S why?! Hhmph, you're so pathetic!!
Shishio: DAMN YOU!!!!!
(charge, swing, miss)
Tim: I already told you, I'm much faster and stronger than you!! You can't beat me!!
Shishio: Wanna bet?!
(same thing, over and over and over, till Shishio is out of breath)
Misao: Alright Tim, we got him!!
Shishio: Don't bet on it!!
Tim and Misao: Huh?!
Shishio: There's still something I haven't used....that's impossible to avoid!!
Tim: You're just bluffing!!
Shishio: We'll see!!
Misao: Be careful Tim!!
Shishio: I picked this up from an old enemy of Himura!!

Shishio: Does the name......Raijuta ring a bell?!
Tim: (shocked) Raijuta?! I remember his technique!! It was the......Tobe Azuna!! He sent energy from the sword like I do at fast speed!!
Shishio: I see!! You know of him, don't you?!
Misao:..........
Shishio: Scared yet?!
Tim: Uuhhhh.....NO!!! I'm not scared of you!!
Shishio: THEN PREPARE!!!!! (raises his sword) I wish you the worst of luck!!

Shishio: DIE!!!!!! (swings sword down and energy flies out)

Tim: Piece of cake!! (moves to the left to avoid)
Shishio: Here's another one!! (same thing)
Tim: (dodges to the right) Come ON!!! Can't you do better than that?!
Shishio: ...........
Tim: So?!
Shishio: So?! What?!
Tim: You said nobody could avoid it!!
Shishio: For someone with your skills, yes......but what about the girl?!
Tim: HUH?!
Shishio: HEH HEH!!! (turns towards Misao) Try avoiding THIS!!! (brings sword down)

Tim: MISAO!!!!!!!!!!!
(Tim is running as fast as he can to save her, then makes it, but)
Tim: AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
Misao: Huh?! Uh, no........TIM!!!!!!!
(As Tim pushed Misao out of the way of his attack, the energy sliced Tim in his right arm almost cutting it off. Tim then falls to the ground, not moving, and now unable to protect Misao)
Misao: Tim........Tim........
Shishio: So......he is down. Finally!!
Misao: No, it can't be! TIM!!!!!
Shishio: Well, you're next!!
Misao: Don't worry Tim! I'll defeat Shishio for you, and I'll tell of your courage and strength throughout your journey! Rest well......my dear Tim.
Shishio: Are you done yet?!
Misao:.........
Shishio: Hey wench, I'm talking to you!!
Misao: SHUT UP!!!!! Now that Tim is dead, I am the only one left to fight you!! I don't care if I die, I will die with honor!!

Chapter 25: Misao Steps In
(Misao and Shishio are facing each other down)
Misao: .........
Shishio: .........

Misao: (to herself while looking at Tim) Don't worry Tim. Your death won't be in vein.
Shishio: Shall we get started?
Misao: (slowly looks at Shishio) Very well. (get's her weapons out) Let's duel!!!
Shishio: (drawing his sword) Let the best man or wench win!!
Misao: Once you're dead, you won't be calling me that!!
Shishio: Heh!!
Misao: Hmmph.....
(Silence for 15 seconds, then Shishio charges. Misao see's him coming, then jumps over him and, while in midair, throws her weapons at him, but Shishio stops them with his sword. Misao then lands on her feet.)
Misao: (herself) He sure has good defense!
Shishio: Is that all you got?!
Misao: Nope.....just getting started!
Shishio: Show me what else you have then!!
Misao: Gladly!!
(The inn)
(When we last left Kenshin and the others, they were at the dojo thinking of how Tim will prevail over Shishio, till someone came, and that someone was Saito. They were told of Tim's situation and decided to wait for Tim at the inn, if he was too return)
Kenshin: So, how long as he been gone?
Saito: I'd say it's been about 2 1/2 hours. He was eager to go.
Kenshin: No wonder. He didn't want this.
Yahiko: No one would want it. He didn't know of this till the last minute. All he wanted was a happy life here.
Kaoru: That's true.
Saito: I can see the situation clearly now.
Kenshin: Let's hope he prevails over the evil. We pray for his safety.
All:...........
(The fight)
(Dodging and throwing her weapons, Misao is avoiding Shishio's attacks and waiting for the right time for her technique)
(They're talking as they're fighting)
Shishio: So, where's your power you were talking about?!
Misao: Why don't you give me a chance to use it?!
Shishio: I'm afraid if I do that, you'll kill me, and I wouldn't want that!
Misao: Aww.....too bad!
(They stop)
Misao: You'd probably enjoy it, like Tim did, but Tim isn't the type to enjoy death! Only someone like you deserves to enjoy it!!
Shishio: That kid deserved too die! Anybody who challenges me and dies are weak, and that boy was weak!
Misao: He wasn't weak, you're just stubborn!!
Shishio: No one says that and lives! NO ONE!!!!! (charges Misao)
Misao: Like I said!! (jumps in the air) Stubborn!!!
Shishio: Heh!! (jumps in the air with sword pointed up)
Misao: Aaahhhh!!!!!
(As Misao get's out of the way of his attack, she sticks a weapon right in his back)
Shishio: Gahhh!!! (falls to the ground, with blood oozing from the wound)
Misao: How did you like that?!
Shishio:.........
Misao: I thought so! (goes over to Tim) Tim? Tim?!
(Quiet)
Misao: It's no good! (crying) Why?! WHY?! We had a future, a future as husband and wife, hanging out with our friends, and also Heather, what am I going to tell her?!
Shishio: Heh heh heh heh heh.......
Misao: Huh?!
Shishio: ............HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!! That was pretty sneaky, but(takes the weapon out of his back and throws it to the ground) it WON'T happen again!!

Chapter 26: Shishio's Victory?!
(The inn)
(As everyone is sitting down to dinner, they are discussing things among themselves, away from Tim fighting Shishio, till.....)
Yoshi: Excuse me?
Kenshin: Oh? Who are you?
Yoshi: My name is Yoshi Aihara. I am a friend of Tim's, and I heard, when I came here to visit family, that you are waiting for Tim to return.
Kenshin: Yes, we are.
Yoshi: Is it alright if I wait for him too?
Kenshin: Of course!
Yoshi: Thanks! ( He sits next to Yahiko) Hi, what's your name?
Yahiko: Yahiko Myojin.
Kenshin: (himself) Come on Tim, you have to survive. Your friends are waiting for you.
(The fight)
(Facedown. As this is going on, Misao is shaking in fear as Shishio is laughing)
Misao: Uuhhhh......
Shishio: Hhmphh!! What's wrong, scared?!
Misao: N.....no!!! Why would I be scared of you?!
Shishio: There's a lot of reasons! You know that!
Misao: I know that you're ugly!! That's what scares me!!
Shishio: You have a big mouth, you know that?!

Shishio: Maybe I'll have to SHUT IT UP!!!!! (charge)
Misao: Uhah!! (jumps over him) Nice try!!
Shishio: So, you're not scared anymore?

Shishio: Like I said, nobody never paid attention to me!!

Shishio: No! Anyhow, who need friends, when you have yourself?!

(Shishio charges with sword raised)

(Shishio is falling down to the ground with his sword pointed down towards Misao's head)
Shishio: DIE!!!!!!!!!!!
(Suddenly.....someone comes flying and knocks Shishio's sword out of his hands)
Shishio: Who the hell?!
(We are shown the back of someone as Shishio lands on the ground)
Shishio: Who the hell do you think you are?!
(The person laughs evily)
????: Ha ha ha ha ha!!! HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!
Shishio: Who are you?!
????: What?! You forgot?!
Shishio: Uhhh.......
(The person turns around and.....)
Shishio: You!!!!!
(It is Tim)
Shishio: You're......supposed to be dead!!!
Tim: Guess again! I was never dead!
Shishio: No matter! Your arm is useless!
Tim: Yes, well I guess I'll have to use my left arm now, don't I?
Shishio: Dammit!!
Tim: What's the matter? Getting scared?!
Shishio: Shut up you!! (rasies sword) Why do you keep fighting if what is waiting for you is death?!

Shishio: Well?!
Tim: (sad tone) Because........I have a life ahead of me. A life with Misao, a life with Heather, a life with Kenshin and the others. A life so as to see other great things. A peaceful life.....it's a great thing to dream for, not like someone like you would understand. You kill for fun! You have no future but to kill others!!
Shishio: I'm.......going......to.......shut.......you......UP!!!!!! (charges with sword raised) HAH!!!!! (swings, misses) UURRGGHHHHH!!!!!!!! (Tim has jumped to the other side of Shishio)
Tim: Come on, that tricks getting old!
Shishio: Don't EVER underestimate me!! (charges again) YOU SCUM!!!!!
Tim: Pitiful!! (draws sword) This will be the end!!!

Chapter 28: Final
Shishio: (charging) AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
Tim: Pitiful! (draws sword) This will be the end!!!
(Shishio jumps up in the air, sword raised. Tim moves over to the other side VERY quickly, then heads back to where Shishio is about to land. As Shishio does land and turns around, Tim is charging and has his sword extended out in front of him. As Shishio tries to get out of the way, Tim stabs Shishio through his chest, right through his heart. Tim remains motionless as Shishio suffers with his sword still stuck through Shishio.)
Shishio: Uu.....ugh..... (pukes up blood) You......uuuahhh......
(Tim takes his sword out and let's Shishio fall to the ground. There is silence for about 20 seconds, then.....)
Tim: I........am victoriuos. (puts sword back in sheathe) Let's hope you burn in hell! (He then runs to Misao) Misao?! Misao?!
Misao: .............
Tim: Misao, please say something!!
Misao: .....ohhh.........
Tim: Misao?
Tim: T......Tim? What.......happened?
Misao: He's dead Misao. I won.
Tim: Good. (sudden pain) Aahhhh!!!!
Tim: Misao?!
Misao: Don't worry, I won't die.
Tim: Why do you say that?
Misao: Look.
Tim: Huh? (Tim looks at where she was cut across the stomach) Armor?
Misao: Yeah, I was hoping I would need it, so I wore some.
Tim: That was some smart thinking, huh?
Misao: I guess so.
(They both softly laugh)
(1 hour later at the end)
Kenshin: (yawn) Boy, I'm tired.
Yahiko: Me too. I wonder how long Tim has been gone.
Kensin: I'd have to say about close to 4 hours. I hope he's okay.
Kaoru: Me too.
Sano: I believe in him. I think that he can kick his ass.
Kenshin: He has incredible powers, that he does.
Yahiko: He's also a great friend.
(Everyone nods in agreement)
Yahiko: He'll come back.......I know he will!!
(5 minutes later)
Man: (from outside) Hey, someone's coming!!
All: Huh?!
(Everyone rushes outside)
Yahiko: Is it.......?!
Kenshin: Yes, it is!!
Kaoru: Tim and Misao!!
All: YEAH!!!!!
(After Tim and Misao catch up with everyone)
Tim: Hi.......everyone.
Kenshin: Welcome back Tim!
Tim: Thanks!
Kenshin: And to you too Misao!
Misao: Thanks!
Yahiko: Hey Tim!!
Tim: Hi......Yahiko!......So, how about I tell you......how it is where I am?
Yahiko: That'll be great!
(Tim smiles then suddenly faints)
Misao: Tim!!
Kenshin:.....He must be very exhausted and hungry. We should let him rest. Miss Megumi?
Megumi: Yes?
Kenshin: Could you take care of Tim for us?
Megumi: Certainly. (she picks him up) I'll do my best. (she walks into the inn)
Kenshin: Well, nothing to do but wait till he's healed.
Yahiko: Yeah, I guess so.
(And with that said, Tim has returned home alive and well, with everyone glad that he has returned home......a hero.)

Tim: (just waking up from the night he returned) Oohhh......uahhh...... (sits up) Ooohh....damn, I feel like a rock. Uhh....where is everybody? (stands up then falls down from weakness) OOWWWW!!!!! Eech!!! (He then manages to walk. He exits the room he's in and then finds the way to the front room.) Where is everybody? Huh? (He then notices food sitting out with a note saying "This is for you Tim, when you get up. Enjoy!! - From all of us." What is left to eat is chicken fried rice with bread. Tim slowly eat's it then he sits down to rest. He then after a few mintes walks outside.) Boy, it sure feels good to breathe and feel the fresh air again! (Then.....)
????: (from a far distance) Hey Tim!!!
(Tim looks to see who it was. It was everyone he knew and cared for, the ones he called......friends. After about a minute, they all reach Tim)
Kaoru: Hey Tim, how are you doing?
Tim: Better!
Kaoru: That's good!!
Yahiko: Hey Tim!!
Tim: Hey Yahiko!!
Yahiko: Ummm......I know it's a little sudden, but.....
Tim: Alright, I'll tell you, but how about I tell everyone.
Yahiko: Okay!
(They go inside the inn then sit down to listen to Tim's story of how his world his. When he was done, everyone clapped. They were proud of how Tim told it.....and how he prevailed over the evil that threatened Japan. For the rest of the day, they hung out and talked, then after dinner, they all went to bed, but Tim stayed up)
Tim: (outside the inn, sitting down. It's all quiet and the only light around is the one from inside the inn and the little lamps outside) Mom, dad.......
Misao: Tim?
Tim: Oh, Misao?
Misao: (sits down next to him) What's wrong?
TIm: I'm just thinking over all that's happened......and all that will happen in the future.
Misao: Like what?
Tim: Well, I can name one thing right away.
Misao: What?
Tim:.......Marrying you.
Misao: Yeah, I'd like that.
Tim: We should plan it soon.
(They look at each other, then they quickly look away)
Tim: (clears throat) Anyhow, we're going back to Tokyo tomorrow, right?
Misao: Yep!
Tim: That's good!
(And so they sit there for a good amount of the night looking up at the stars, thinking of the future)
(In the morning)
(Outside the inn, everyone is gathered to see Kenshin and the others leave)
Kaoru: Well, we're be going now!
Okina: Alright then!! Have a safe journey back home!
Kaoru: Thanks, we will!
Okina: Oh, and Misao?
Misao: Yes?
Okina: I hope you and Tim make a great couple!
Misao: (looks at Tim) Thanks, I think we will!
Yoshi: Bye Tim!
Tim: Bye Yoshi!
Kaoru: Goodbye!
All: Bye!!
(They leave)
Kaoru: That was quite an adventure, wasn't it? It brought back memories of the time I waited for Kenshin coming back from killing Shishio.
Tim: Yes......that's true, and you were very happy to see him.
Kaoru: Yes I was!
Tim: (smiles, then to himself) Once again, I'm surprised I'm here, talking with my friends, having fun, and......laughing. Also, something is about to happen which I didn't think would happen till I was about 20, but......I'm going to be marrying Misao.
(About 2 1/2 hours later)
(In front of the Kamiya Dojo)
Kaoru: Well, we're home!!
Tim: Home.....Yes, home!!

Act III: Future
Chapter 1: Reflections: A Sad Boy's Past
(1 week after getting back from Kyoto)
(Everyone just finished dinner and they're about to clean up the dojo.)
Kaoru: Alright everybody, ready to clean up?
Yahiko: (weakly) Yes.....
Kaoru: What was that, Yahiko?!
Yahiko: Yes ma'am!!
Kaoru: That's better! Okay Kenshin, you do the laundry, Yahiko and Sano, you clean the dishes, Ayame and Suzume, you can clean the floors, and Tim, you can.....Huh?! (looks around) Hey, where did Tim go?!
Misao: He said he went down to the riverbed to think things over.
Kaoru: Oh, could you go get him please?
Misao: Sure!
(Riverbed)
Tim:.........Mom, dad, can you hear me?.......It's me. I think I found where I belong. It's here, among my friends, and my future wife. We're already starting to show love for each other because we have a daughter now. She means a lot to us. I think.....
Misao: Tim?
Tim: Uh.....(looks behind him) Misao?
Misao: What's wrong?
Tim: Just.....thinking over things.
Misao: (sits down next to him) Like what?
Tim: My past, present, and future.
Misao: Me too.
Tim: You too?!
Misao: Of course, we all do silly!
Tim: Want to talk about it?
Misao: I'd love too. You start.
Tim: Where should I start?
Misao: How about your past?
Tim: Alright. Okay, I was born.....Oh yeah?!
Misao: What?
Tim: What's today?
Misao: I think it's September 28th. Why?
Tim: My birthday was the 15th.......The day I returned to Kyoto.
Misao: It was?! How about that!
Tim: Yes......Anyhow, my past.
(Misao smiles)
Tim: Like I said, I was born September 15th, in the year 1987 in America, in a state surrounded by lakes. It's called Michigan and it's really beautiful. I was happy the first time I saw my parents. They made my life worthwhile till I started school, then that's when my life started turning into hell.
(Flashback of Tim being beat up in an alley far from where people are when he was 8 years old)
(Tim is being punched and kicked around by bullies. He's also being put in the trash, having dirty water poured on him and they're even peeing on him. Tim knew he would never win, so he just let them do what they wanted. He never cried till they left and was afraid to go to school later that week)
Tim: (after the bullies left) Why?! (sniff) Why must they do this?!
(His house)
(Then when his mom wasn't home when he was there alone with his dad, his dad would also abuse him while he was drunk, and then threatened to kill him if he ever told his mother about what he's been doing)
Tim: (after his dad leaves his room) My life sucks!!! (crying)
(End of flashbacks)
Misao: Oh Tim......
Tim: It's alright. I got used to that stuff after a while.
Misao: How can you be used to all that?! It's torture!!
Tim: It was happening to me everyday, so I knew what was to come, and what the effects were to be.
Misao: I still think you shouldn't be used to it.
Tim: Anyhow, back to what I was saying.
Misao: .......Forget it Tim. I don't want to hear anymore.
Tim: ..........
Misao: Tim, after hearing all that......it makes me want to marry you more.
Tim: ........
Misao: You need someone in life that'll take care of you, cherish you, and love you. Someone that you can trust.
Tim: Misao.........
Misao: (lays on Tim's shoulder) I love you Tim.
Tim: ...........(smiles) I love you too.......Misao.
A theif is robbing the Akabeko, a restaurant in downtown Tokyo, and also, Tai, a waitress there, is going to be killed. Tim goes to take care of it, but it seems someone has their eyes set on him. Will Tim make it in time before Tai is killed and the Akabeko is robbed?!

Act III: Future
Chapter 2: Save the Akabeko:Kenwadan Attacks
(The dojo during lunchtime)
Kaoru: So everybody, how is it?
All: ..........
Kaoru: Come on, don't be nervous. Say something already!!
Tim: Ummmm.........
Kaoru: Yes Tim?
Tim: THIS IS THE BEST EVER!!!!!
Kaoru: It is!! Finally, someone agrees, including Kenshin!
Tim: You too?
Kenshin: Of course.
Tim: Hmmmm......
Yahiko: Tim, how can you like this crud?!
Kaoru: UUURRGHHHHHH!!!!!!!! (throws bowl in Yahiko's face)
Yahiko: OWWWW!!!!!
Tim: Heh!! Busted!!
Yahiko: Ah, shut up!!
(Everyone laughs)
????: Excuse me?!
Kaoru: Huh?!
(Someone has opened the dojo doors and is standing in the opening)
Yahiko: Hey, it's Tsubame!!
(Tsubame is a 11-year-old who works at a restaurant in donwtown Tokyo called the Akabeko. Everyone goes out to her.)
Tsubame: You have to help us!!
Kaoru: What's wrong?
Tsubame: The Kenwadan are robbing the Akabeko!!
Kenshin: The Kenwadan?!
Sano: Those guys from the dog incident?!
(In episode 65 of Kenshin, a group of ruffians called the Kenwadan were looking for a dog that hid a key to a rich man's safe. The dog was found one night by Sano and he took him home with him to the dojo. He caused trouble when there, then he had to bring him to his house, even more trouble. Later on, Kenshin and Sano ran into the Kenwadan and prevented them from taking the dog.)
Tsubame: They're also threatening to kill Miss Tae!! (another waitress who is about 23)
Kenshin: What?!
(Tim suddenly starts running out)
Kaoru: Tim?!
Kenshin: Wait Tim!!
(Tim suddenly stops)
Tim: What?!
Kenshin: Take this!! (he throws his reverse-blade sword to Tim) You aren't fighting Shishio anymore, use that!!
Tim: Thanks!!
(He then leaves)
Misao: Be careful Tim!!
Tim: I will!!!!!
(3 miles down the road)
Tim: Boy, those guy's didn't learn from the last time?! Well, they'll get what they deserve! Uahhh....
(Suddenly, in an intersection of 2 alleys and the road, someone in a dog mask jumped down from the roof)
Tim: Uhh......
????: You must be Tim Ouellette, am I right?!
Tim: What if I am?!
????: We, the Kenwadan, will go down in history for killing one of the strongest ever!!
Tim: I doubt it! You can try, but you won't defeat me!
????: Oh, won't we?! (pause) Okay!!!
Tim: Huh?!
(Suddenly, Kenwadan members appear on ALL sides of Tim, even above him on the roofs)
Tim: Damn!!!
????: You better say your prayers now, for you WON'T have a chance too later!!
Tim: ..........
(And so, Tim has gone to investigate the robbery, but the members that aren't part of it, have come to distract Tim. Will Tim be able to get out of this bad predicament before something bad happens? Find out.......next time!!!
