Do you guys honestly think Saddam would have used the weapons if he had them?

Saddam's no idiot. He didn't bulk up his forces to defend his nation, he laid his nation down to America in order to make the rest of the world think the exact same thing that you guys think right now. You think America was wrong to invade Iraq, you think Saddam was fine how he was in Iraq and that we had no business going in there to take him out of power. All ploys in order to make Bush seem like the bad guy.
He was the ruler of Iraq for christ sakes...not a 15 year old ignorant child. He knew he stood no real chance against the United States. NO SINGLE nation stands a chance against the US in a war now adays. Sorry if that sounds arrogant, but it's the truth.
why do you think the Muhadeen (whatever his army was named) were more of a force than the organized Iraqi military? Isn't it more believable to think he laid down his country as oppose to bulk up his forces in a war that he'd ultimately lose anyway?
We found him in a hole in the ground hiding...not fighting until his last breath. He probably would have stayed in that hole for 5 years, then when the US left....he'd probably make a nice little return to power.
conspiracy theory? what are you talking about? Dude, this war is going exactly in the favor of alkida, and Sadaam loyalists. The battle of Iraq is over,but now the war is starting to take full effect. The war in Iraq is being lost from within. If Sadaam would have put up a fight, he would not have accomplished nearly what he has without fighting. Besides, he diddnt know America was comming to take him out of power untill we were there.

common sense? If he would have used weapons of mass destruction, his country and everything he was involved in would be decimated. The entire UN would have been on him, not only him, but the terror groups he funded. Sadaam was crazy yes, but he was also very smart. There would have been no chance for him what so ever to conquer an American raid. Yeah is happend to the Russians,but they werent in a state of war with him. Common sense would tell you to let this war be won with the very same poltics that America uses, and media. This is what is being done right now.

you say tomato, i say alkida 🙂 Al queda (there that better?) Isnt gaining power, they are losing it with every affiliate America brings down. Three quarters of Alkida have been subdued. This really shouldnt be looked upon as a success though, becuase it isnt just alkida that is a threat in the war of terrorism. It is the countries and poloticians funding them.

America could have done Shock and Awe (dropping bombs like crazy) for weeks. They started to pour it on against Iraq, but they pulled up...because there was little resistance.
Just to clarify, Muhadeen=Mujahideen (for Linkalicious) Alkida=Al Qaeda (ragesremorse).
And you (Linka.) said that the Mujahideen is "his" army after referring to Saddam, which is incorrect. The Mujahideen are just Islamic "resistance fighters" who have recently begun fighting in Iraq, and they aren't the forces of Saddam. They are most famously known as the force that opposed the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. Just to clarify.

America can shoot missles out of the sky. China wouldn't even get near Hawaii by the time a severe American force was already IN China establishing bases.
One thing America does, and has been known to do....better than any other nation, is mobilize their army across the sea.
What other nation has ever been able to move equitment and troops in the scale, or at the speed of the US?
Then where would they drop troops? in California? Oh lord, there would be hundreds of thousands of Americans waiting on the ground for anyone coming out of the sky.
