well theyve fought fairly one on one before havent they, and if my memory serves me right, cap beat him didnt he so whats there to discuss?
of course if you are referring to panther with his vibranium suite and all his gadgets then the outcome is quite debatable, but otherwise............................................................
no....the only time that Cap won, they were both under mind control...the Panther was able to break the mind control so that Cap could beat him...
The time they fought fair, a short fight, it was kind of a tie. I give it to Panther though, because he admitted later on that he wasnt trying to defeat Cap, he was just trying to test if was the real Captain America.

Wrong. Perhaps you should read some of the examples I have listed in this thread, and then go out and read some ACTUAL Captain America comics.
Cap wins.
In which issues exactly does this apparent defeat of Black Panther at Captain America's hands happen? Please list them again. As I recall in Avengers vol 1. #71 -- Captain America was under hypnosis as well as Namor with the belief that Giant Man and Black Panther were Nazi spies. That fight ended in a virtual stalemate considering that Black Panther didn't use his full potential to defeat Captain America because he considered him a " friend ". And fought that battle on the defensive side along with Hank Pym. And again during contest of Champions 2 there was outside interference in which Black Panther permitted Captain America a victory to draw out the parties responsible.
According to Christopher J. Priest's version of the Black Panther, T'Challa has not been defeated in single man combat save by Killmonger. Thus why Killmonger is said to be " the guy Panther never beat. " I've not read a single issue of Black Panther or Avengers in which it states Captain America had anything to do with training Black Panther or defeating him in man to man combat. I flipped through my many issues of Panther, Avengers and Captain America and I just haven't seen any mention. I would assume if Black Panther had been defeated by Cap there would be SOME mention of it in his own comics, right? Even mention of it in the Avengers. Maybe I don't have those issues. Maybe you could clear it up, Cap.

Probably because it's in the upcoming Black Panther comic by Reggie Hudlin and Romita jr.
You know, I tried to leave this thread alone, because Cap had obviously won in the poll, and it really wasn't going anywhere. But when I see nonsense like the stuff you posted, full of half-truths and misleading statements, I have to respond.
First of all, the images you posted are of a battle which took place during World War 2. It says so right there on the page. Therefore, Cap is not fighting T'Challa, he is fighting his father, T'Chakka. Misleading statement number one.
Secondly, Cap is fighting T'Chakka with his TRIANGULAR shield. That means that this battle obviously took place during the very early days of Cap's career, when he admittedly still had a lot to learn. Cap was originally intended to be used as little more than a propaganda machine for the US, and to be used in a limited capacity to fight domestic terrorism here at home, since he was the only successfully created Super Soldier. It was Cap who asked that he be allowed to take the fight to the enemy. However, he still had a lot to learn and lost many of his early fights due to his lack of real combat experience. This fight is obviously one of them, since in the real-time time-line, Cap replaced his triangular shield with the more familiar round version in issue #2! Misleading statement number two.
Ergo, if you are going to use BP's past as proof for your argument that Cap could EVER possibly lose to BP, then you have to use Cap's as well, and Cap has far more combat experience than BP. And, Captain America is WAAAAAY more experienced now than he was in the early days of WW2 when he fought Panther's father! (Hey, I hear Cap beat up BP's great uncle and a couple of mouthy second cousins too; perhaps you can post some images of those fights as well.) 😆 😆 😆 😆
Maybe you just include a disclaimer with your posts from now on, so that the truly uninformed are not drawn into your fantasy world.
Cap wins. (you knew I was going to say that.) 😮💨
Cap has far more combat experience than BP
Perhaps not.
Steve Rogers was born a sickly man in 1917. In 1941 he entered the Super Soldier Program, became the greatest human fighting machine up to that point, etc. etc. Fought until 1945, at which point he was 28 years old, then was frozen solid, doing nothing for several decades, yet still claiming that he's been "fighting the good fight since WWII". Which is amusingly erroneous at best.
Priest has stated that at the end of his run, T'Challa's official age was about 33. He was born and bred to be a warrior king, even before the herbs he was probably one of the most dangerous men in the world. He had mastered lethal combat by the time he was 6. Roger's could probably barely go the night without wetting himself at 6 years old.
Cap is revived shortly after the start of the Age of Marvels, and it's been roughly 10 years since then, so the actual amount of years that he's been alive and cognizant for is 38. Of that time, he's only been Captain America for 14 years. T'Challa has been training all his life, fighting the fiercest Wakandan warriors as practice for his right of ascension. By my count he has roughly twice the amount of experience in fighting. Of course the mere number of years cannot determine a man's worth, yadda, yadda, yadda. Still, I stick by the facts that T'Challa has more experience than Rogers, and being a bigger fan of T'Challa, I say Panther wins. But that's just my humble opinion.
