True good comments.....HP is focused on a school that teaches witchcraft. However it doesn't teach the children to do bad spells..etc...only for protection. The school is so the students can attain better powers so they can fight evil....occassionally there are bad seeds like the Malfoy's who tend to do the bad.
They only curse the evil people! 🙂 not the good people! 😄
Its still teaching them to do evil. Evil for evil is....evil I thk it's teaching kids that, i don't like that. You can't do mean things to someoe every time someone does something to you. Now what kind of person will you grow up to be then? Do unto others as they do unto you? wrong, its do unto others as you want them to do unto you.
But you wouldn't understand if you havn't read the book.
In the book, people are born with magic in there blood. You can't help it. So when you turn 11 you go to a magic school and learn spells to get you through life. Now people who do not have magical powers are called muggles. And people with magical abilitys who are born from muggles are called muggle-borns. Now there are some people in the magical community who beilive that people who are muggle born are just a waste of space and should be thrown out of the magical world altogether. And some have banned together and started to kill off people that they did not like. And they just started to kill and cause all the chaos. THOSE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT GET HIT WITH SPELLS

Cuz, they are just latin words. eg. Lumos, the spell for light, is the latin word for........Light!
If you think the spells COULD be real, you should rally against latin lessons in school, right? 🙄
