wot i doont get is why it is suddenly HARRY POTTER. no other fantasy books hav really been a problem to these people have they? Imean wot about classic fairy tales and LOTR? Peter Pan etc. I dont remember Phillip Pullman's HIS DARK MATERIALS being a problem (those are just the first things i thought of... sorry if thet are bad examples)

Simple: If you don't like it, don't read it and if you like it, read your copies as many times as you want until they fall apart and you have to go and buy a new one.
I mean, come on! Christian fanatics can just ignore it if they're too uptight to realise that IT'S FICTION! Not true!
As for all those little 5 year olds running around with a stick in their hand yelling "Die Voldemort die!" they'll grow out of it. It's just a kid thing which will fade when they realise it's just a book.
