I merely defend the position of a character who is seriously underrated in comparison to a world wide comic icon who is grossly OVERRATED. Make no mistake, I am a great fan of each of these characters but since reading the Marvel Knights volume of Black Panther my opinion of Batman has considerably changed. I realized that there are other characters who can meet and match his abilities in nearly every avenue and that he's not the veritable god most attempt to make him. Fanboy? Hardly. I just appreciate the character more for the basic fact that he isn't supremely popular in the comic industry. I appreciate the fact that Marvel has been attempting to elevate previously unnoticed and unappreciated characters much as they did with Blade. Had you stated I was a [b]CABLE[b] fanboy then I'd have no choice but to agree. Why? Because that I'm more than willing to own up to.

You a fanboy? You admitted that Black Panther had the physical advantages over Batman and considering that neither man is inept when it comes to strategy and intelligence you still don't believe it possible that his supposed " minimal " advantages would land Panther a win. Yes, I do consider that to be a degree of Fanboyism. Even with my own character I realize his limitations and if you peek over to the Cable vs. Silver Surfer thread I admitted whole heartedly that Silver Surfer would BEAT Cable. What does that say about me if I'm an admitted CABLE fanboy?

Cap has never truly won a fight against the Black Panther. Most of their conflicts have been due to machinations of a third party that involved themselves leaving their fights in stalemates. Don't believe me? Look over my posts and you'll find a link. It has their battles scanned and commented on. Besides that was Black Panther before he'd ever received his recent endowments thanks to Christopher Priest.

Tie? Perhaps. I wouldn't doubt that in a battle of 10 fights each combatant would respectively get 5 wins a piece. But then with Black Panther's obvious advantages in strength and so forth he might have the edge that gives him a single point higher than Batman.

I got in a fight and lost...i didn't bleed or anythin just had a lota pain around my face and stuff. took 2 aspirins and i woke up feeling fine...no memory even of tha fight then i was like oh yeah haha.

This is wut happened, hes like 200 pounds and he usually cant throw hands, he grabs ur neck and slams u to tha ground. my strategy was to box and as i came up to him, he threw blind punches left and right without stopping once. i had my guard up and couldn't look see him since he was coming continously and fast. is there a strategy around this?

Yes, absolutely. It's called a brick. 😉

Brick usually works, or just move out of his f*ckin' way, lol. I'd say try circling around the guy, staying on the side he swings with, then while that leading fist is swung, handle your business. Since they'll take about a second to turn around and use their other arm, that one second is all you need while they're wide open. Either that, or if you're good on the ground (i.e. wrestler, shoot fighter, etc.), take them down quick and proceed to drill on them. Usually works for me anyways.

Lol where would i find a brick? he was swinging with both fists left and right continously. and i looked down to protect my nose while he was hitting around my head and upper cheek bone. there was no break for me to see him, i connected with his head a couple times and that was when i just threw my fists to where ever.

I'm not sure about ur strategy tron..whether it would work for this situation. i duno where i could find an opening or even see one. i'm probably not understanding your concept most likely.

In any case, were they to actually do a Black Panther vs. Batman comic I think it'd most likely end in a stalemate or a situation would come up in which a third party, most likely a villain, would interrupt their battle leaving it included. ( Like Black Panther and Captain America. )

BP's suit can be cut, and after a fight with batman he'd be near naked, adding to his embarrassment especially since that means Bat's is the new leader of Wakanda. BP's herb doesn't make him super human, it just puts him on par with Batman. Too bad he doesn't have the skill to make something of it. Batman's got vibranium figured with 5 seconds, the same way he always figured things out (don't bug me on this one that's just the way he's written.)

And in a random battle I see BLACK PANTHER beating the hell out of the batman but I see batman redeeming himself and taking the win. And this is the first encounter.

hey even if bp has the SMALLEST amount of physical advantage{and i dont deny that he does}, still batman would beat him because of superior SKILLS in hand to hand combat and battle tactics, this isnt arm wrestling people where its brute strength vs brute strength.

to understand my argument try imagining a fight between shang chi and batman, ofcourse batman will lose, but indeed batman is superior in strength to chi.

theres no fact that proves batman has superior fighting skills, and theres also no way to prove he has superior battle tactics, its just fanboyish to say batman automatically has superior fighting skills and battle tactics, especially if you've probably only read one or two bp comics

"batman is said" isnt good enough, judging from comic book experience he's never shown to be a master in every type of martial art there is

im not saying youre a stupid fanboy, im saying you have to take into consideration that these two are from different universes and theres no need to say one is superior in something than the other, especially IF you havent read black panthers comics

he knows african martial arts, and in comics has made batman look like a frikkin rookie

that doesnt prove anything except DC's definition of martial arts arent shown as well as marvels

wolvie knows two types of martial arts MAYBE, and he takes on hundreds of hand ninja's all the time WITHOUT getting stabbed or cut

well in UR oppinion, he has bat lookin like a rooky, and u think that batman has never fought more than one skilled opponent at a time.
