you can't be born gay because when you come out of your mother's womb, you don't have any sexual preferences.

The environment you grow up in is what helps determine such things. Your brain is a clean slate when you enter this world...

Back to the Bible.......Since there are Homosexual Christians....I think is properly fit that their fellow Christians treat them as brothers and sisters.

no i agree that it's not really a "choice" so to speak. but using the term "born gay" is just not something I'm willing to believe is possible.

How can you determine wether or not you are gay if you are so young that you can't comprehend the difference between a male and a female?

I can show many places where being GAY is wrong in the bible. Saying you're born gay, is saying you don't have a choice, i don't believe that.

well if you look at the historical time there, Homosexuals were persecuted. But times change and so must we. Maybe it was historicly applicable then but not now.

Sometimes peoeple have desires to steal, but rather or not they act on them is up to them, is it still wrong to steal?? YES

Sometimes people have desires to sleep w/someone's spouse, but rather or not they act on them is their choice, is it wrong?? YES

Sometimes people have desires to to lie, but have the choice on rather or not they do it, is it wrong?? YES

Sometimes people have desires to backstab/cheat a freind, but have the choice on rather or not they do it, is it wrong? YES

My point being, just cuz you have a desire doesn't make it right.

The Word of God states its wrong, & praying yes he'll answer your questions, and if you have a prblem w/something in the Bible, you pray and ask, he'll give you the answer. You're not to be rude or hateful to them by NO means, but it is wrong.

Indeed. Back in the ‘ole days astronomers were called astrologers, and even Galileo and Newton were men of God. Back then we didn’t know WHAT was out there – heck we didn’t know if the world was flat or round or cylindrical. And scientists had to believe in God – so of course great minds tried to get their minds around this paradoxical concept.

Again you’re wrong. Scientists usually don’t CARE about religion – as I said they don’t have to anymore, the Inquisition is over. Fundamentalist Christians however spend aeons trying to prove a thing like Evolution wrong and cosmology wrong – as if that would somehow make the 6000-year old Earth hypothesis right.

Two things: How do you KNOW the Bible is the word of God? Has God, himself, told you so?

If we are to take the Bible literally, then:
- Must we KILL all homosexuals (Romans 1: 26-28)?
- Must we circumcise all boys (Genesis 17:14) or abandon them?
- Is bigamy allowed? (Starting in Genesis 4:19)?

Man, you absolutely refuse to take your head out of the Bible, don’t you? Try to THINK for yourself for once – otherwise you’re wasting mine and tpt’s time.
You list stealing, adultery, backstabbing, and cheating as something people can have a desire to do – and choose not to.
So – you’re comparing homosexuality to stealing, back-stabbing and cheating. Yes, you are. Because you make it sound as if homosexuality – as if who you’re attracted to – is simply an evil urge you can overcome. I’m not even going to ask you if you can CHOSE not be in love with someone you’re in love with – that question is philosophically WAY beyond you.
