Nonsense, you are persecuting. By saying "all gays are going to hell unless they change" you are persecuting. You are speaking poorly of someone because of the way they are. That is persecuting. Quite simple.

Exactly, the bible condemns them, and you are persecuting them by believing in this hate and condoning it upon them.

You think it's okay for gays to go to hell for no other reason then being gay and suffer for all eternity, just like the Nazi's thought it was okay to torture and kill people just becuase tehy were Jews.

God didn't want all men to suffer from hell...
That's why He gave us the law in order for us to live righteously.

It is man's choice to remain unrighteous and suffer in hell in the end.

But teh fact that you believe being gay is unrighteous and a hell worthy offense is persecuting them. It's saying that their way of life isn't okay, and that if they wish to avoid harm from the big bad lord, they need to change their ways, or else.

No it's not. The God tells them what's good for them. We can tell them what's good for them by virtue of God's words written in the Bible. If it seems persecution to you, then it's up to you.

Yes, and you're doing this because of your beliefs and for no other reason. You're telling these people that they need to change and blah blah blah. Therefore, you are harrasing them and their lifestyle based on your beliefs and religion, which is the direct definition for Persecution.

There's nothing to respect about prejudice ideals.

Backfire, if you mean "helping others spiritually" is persecution ... then it's up to you. It's your definition of persecution. 🙂

i mean no disrespect here , but for all who believe that being gay is a reason to be condemed to an eternity in hell (IF such a place exist) are hypocrits themselves .

IF God exist and IF what the bible says is true , then you shouldnt judge homosexuality in no way , shape or form . i know the Bible also preaches about not judging others . that its Gods job as a father . to say you dont judge someone on one hand and then in the other hand you speak of this "knowledge" that god has given his "chosen" people about homosexuality being a sin is being hypocrits . bashing one sooo called sin and commiting one yourselves........

shellie, dear. I am judging no one. 🙂 God has already condemned those who lived unrighteously. So, I don't need to judge them.

And yes, Jesus Christ is a real person... and He is God's greatest messenger.

Althought religious arguments weren't brought up we did acknowledge the possibility of the gay gene. If it does exists than that means is part of nature and since God created nature.....well, you guys can take it from there.

Actually, I didn't know that. But if you talk to any gay person, they will tell you that being gay is not a choice. It's a choice whether or not to accept it, but you can't choose not to feel something for people of the opposite sex.

Like I said, it's not a matter of whether or not you "believe" it, it's fact. And furthermore, you have no way of knowing that, because you haven't been there yourself.

Why is it even relevant? If someone's born homosexual or chooses to be, does it still give someone the right to persecute them? No. Try controlling who you fall in love with. It doesn't work that way.

I don't think the bible is fact...the number of contradictions in it for the first and biggest example as to why I don't believe in it.

Believe me or not......there are homosexuals that believe in JC. So there is sucha a thing as a homosexual Christian. There might be homosexuals in Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism, and even Muslin. So, their faith shouldn't be question...nor their lifestyle.
