I think it is less "fact" and more "truth" but in terms of fact and fiction it is neither exclusively.

Interesting link you got there. Here is something people should keep in mind about the creation of man. God, it is said, created Adam and then created Eve. As you read the book of Genesis it later says that Cain was born from the womb of Eve. Now, isn't that interesting? It shows that God did not created Cain or his brother Abel. Whether is a myth or reality that is a GREAT representation of humanity. If we were to assume God created man. That means that Adam was the ONLY man created by God. Therefore the father (Adam) is greater than the two sons. If the father is greater than the son that means.....yup, God is greater than Adam.
Why do I think that? Quite simple, what does Cain do his brother? He kills him! Doesn't that depict humanity perfectly? It shows that humans kill one another over envy and jeaously. It illustrates perfectly that humans are violent by nature. Adam never kill another man. Isn't interesting that the created man is much better than a man born from a woman? Very dark, but is an interesting illustration.

Good point but I don't think that Cain's being born from a woman really was the cause of his sin. Adam and Eve were tempted by the serpent when they ate fruit from the tree of knowledge. This ushered sin into the world itself. Thus when Cain and his brother were born, they were born into a sinful world. It really had little to do with the fact that Cain was born from his mother 🙂

Adam and eve was just another folk tale, part of jewish mythology when the book of genesis was written. When the jews were recording their history, they left out the full story of adam and eve because it was not considdered history. it was just a myth, therefore it only has a few paragraphs. The full story is in the boks of adam and eve and the following books of jewish mythology.

That was just a little theory of mine. It might tell the tale of his life in another book that prolly hasn't been found or hasn't been cannonized. Men that are created don't kill. Men that evolved kill. It fits perfectly with that statement that says "survival of the fittest".

personally i think at one time it may have been fact but over the many years it has been rewritten to what man wants you to believe is Gods word..........
now at this point its a collection of fiction of stories put together by man .
