reminds me of Anselmus (I believe, but don't shoot me if I'm wrong) who starts with "lets assume there is a god" and then goes on with "now lets proof there is a god" 🙄even IF there is a god and IF he allows free will, it would still make a stupid decision:
so you got this book that's supposed to explain how people have to behave themselves in order to go to heaven and that god allows there to be errors in it "cause humans write it"... I thought that god was supposed to be about loving and caring and not pushing someone deeper in the shit, cause that's what he's doing then: making sure no one can get it right due to errors
people dont have to behave themsleves to go to heaven... not according to christianity, anyway.

People always throw crap around about how Jesus is all about love and kindness. When Jesus commanded the Israelites to slaughter other nations, was it all about love and kindness? When He told the Israelites to put to death those who were guilty of sexual impurity, was it love and kindness?
well, people who think that are just ignorant. Yes, he did come with a message of peace, but as in most cases, peace can only truely be obtained through war. He said it himself that he did not come to bring immediate peace, but a sword.

Kontratz> “conscience being a divine pressense.... that's where faith comes in, buddy.”
(I’m a ”she”)
Faith – beliving in something in the absolute absence of proof. Well, that’s hardly 100 % fact as Elastigirl stated.
You do not NEED the assumption of some holy ghost to explain conscience.
” You might not have faith that a chair can support your weight.” No, but I can look at the chair, you know see and touch (unlike your ghost up there), I can make experiments to see how much wait it CAN support before breaking, and then sit down in it according to my test.
” Now, about the matrix (dammit, didnt i say i DIDNT want to start a discussion about this???)”
Oh, yes, toss in a little something, and say to everyone ”I don’t want to be refuted here”. It doesn’t work that way.
” just a side note, something i find very funny is that most people who like the matrix, hate christianity.”
There – you feel hated.
” yes, and if you say you worship something that cannot be seen, atheist still consider you nuts. Funny, guys who said the earth was round were also considered nuts... so its all based on what the majority of the populace to believe to be true. If you are in the minority, you're nuts...”
There, you claim we think you’re nuts.
It’s not about being a minority, buddy. It’s about proof. When Copernicus and Galileo started saying, hey, the Earth circles the Sun, it was YOU guys, the Christians, who said they were nuts. To the point of torturing Galileo into claiming it didn’t.
Winddancer> “yerssot but let's for a minute assume that that particular God allows people to produce errors.”
😆 Only religious people claim that God purposefully allowed errors in his divine books.
Jesus isn’t all about love and compassion.
Mt 8 8:21 And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
8:22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
Or how about
Mt 11
11:21 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
11:22 But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.
11:23 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted unto heaven, shalt be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in thee, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.
11:24 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for thee.
So, it’s follow me or burn in Hell? Free will? My foot!

dont make up definitions, because it does not mean in the absolute absense of proof. And the term "buddy" has nothing to do with your sex

oh you want tests? Okay. Prove a bumblebee or a helicopter can fly. What was that? You cant? Both break the laws of physics? Well then, they just can't do it can they? Oh... wait... they can....

sure it does, you wanna refute it, take it to a matrix forum 😉

hating a religion has nothing to do with hating people. ROLFMAO 😆

no, it does have to be in the minority. it has nothing to do with proof. Someone can have all the proof they need, just like galileo did, but nobody will beleive them if they dont WANT to. Its the same thing with religion. One could have all the proff neccessary, but if thinking about someone being in control of destiny makes someone else feel uncomfortable, they will choose to ignore the proof.
