AMERICA EATS ITS YOUNG
I like Japanese stuff, but I don't think it's scary, I'd call it more unsettling. It's the imagery that stays with you--much better than the forgettable tripe commonly found in American-made cinematography.
Robo--I've never betrayed anyone's trust, and I don't think I'll alter my policy now. Besides, now that you've acknowledged that trust, I consider you a true "innocent". Therefore, as the resident Lethal Protector, I say,
"WE ARE SWORN TO UPHOLD AND DEFEND THE SANCTITY OF YOUR INNOCENCE. ANYONE WHO DARES SPILL A DROP OF YOUR BLOOD WILL PAY WITH A GALLON OF THEIR OWN!!!"
Scibott--I cannot tell a lie. It WAS you, but I wasn't going to say anything, unless someone else remembered. I'd say you safely fall into that category. Where have you been? (Like I have a right to ask--I haven't been here at all myself lately)
Red--I like the idea of shirtless men. Good idea. Very good.
Blaque--Good Marvel run-down, but I think it's worth mentioning that Eddie Brock has also recently slit his wrists in MKS. I haven't been reading the Avengers, but have been wanting to--since it's the first thing that you mentioned in the Marvel universe, I'm going to go out and get some. I do like Whedon's X-Men, but Jean dying (again) is a bit lame. The Emma Frost/Cyclops thing is good mainly because of the tension between Logan and Scott, I think. But guys certainly do like Emma Frost.
And I did like the Sins Past story with Gwen's kids--it was fresh, and I was very stoked for the issues when they were coming out.
Thanks for the update--and carry on--WITHOUT your shirt, that is.
