It would be great if they have Liam Neeson in the movie as Ghost Qui-Gon but I've been hearing that he doesn't like the direction they've taken. That really makes me wonder how that will be addressed. Does Yoda, at some point say"Figured it out, I have!" then he tells Mace?

i guess the power he wields over the galaxy in the ot is enough for him to feel "contented"....

(seriously, if liam doesn't reprise in ep III, that will maybe be the one thing that annoys me about this film)

Maybe George just needs to wave enough cash in front of him, that helps lots of people make up their minds. I'm sure he'd be well-paid for a day's work....

No doubt about that, smoker4. Although, the "noooooooooo" part of that scene sounded bad and I don't think that was Neeson. But ILM's CGI is second to none.

Yeah i noticed that the second time i was watching AOTV at the cinema kinda let me down cause i thought maybe neeson recorded some extra stuff for inclusion in 3, just like lucas filming an episode 3 bit when they were in tunisa, but going on the "nooooooooo" this seems doubtful.

On another point i too would love to see the y wing in 3, it always to me looked like it had been around long enough to be in ROTS, one can hope.

That might be cool, the Y-wing deserves a share of the spotlight! A group of those should be escorting the Tantive 4 at the end of Episode 3......

Agreed, I was alwyas under the impression that the Y-Wings were the "old dogs", that had been around for ages, and the X-Wings were the newer ships.

It would be very cool to see the Y-Wings being used as bomber craft in a space seqeunce.

I know it's highly unlikely because they seem so freakin' intent on making these horrible new ships, but we can only hope.

i read years ago that y-wings were indeed much earlier ships than x-wings....that's why they're slower apparently....

one of my earliest thoughts on the prequels was that we would see y-wings in ep III, and leave the x-wings to appear in ep IV for the first time.....

i heard that the qui gon voice in ep II was left over audio from ep I, but they mighta lied...

Yeah, heard that too, the noooooooo bit of epII was so different to neesons voice, they should have matched that better 😮‍💨

maybe i need to watch it again....

making sure liam was in ep III would be one of the few times i would champion excessive unnatural use of cg....."oh, they'll use cg to replace actors completely in the future"......
