PVS, excellent point regarding Obi's short range comment. I'd forgotten all about that line.....
Disagree about the Infiltrator, though, that was a cool design.

As for the Naboo Royal ships, I found the concept of a chrome starship to be a unique one.

ok, from the back, the infiltratoe looked cool, but thats because from that angle it looks like vader's tie fighter. it just seems to me that any cool looking ships in the PT are old designs, unfortunately.

look at ALL the ships in the OT, x,y,b,a wings, slave1, ties, imp. shuttles, the falcon, the list goes on and on. the most awsome ship designs. now its like GL cant come up with any original designs, it all has to be recycled. then he uses an excuse like "we wanted to tie the designs together" BS absolute BS. the x wing looks NOTHING like the y,a,or b wing. no two ships look alike in the OT, so how that is the case?

its just the one big flaw i see in the PT.
part of what made the PT awesom was the ship designs.

Some of the designs have been OK, they just are different than the OT.
Keep in mind that this supposed to a more civilized time, so the ship designs are fancier.
