No prob.

😉

i can send pics, but don't know how to...

Hey PVS this link has a front and side view of it, but you have to troll through some other pics

http://community.spacecast.com//ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=2;t=002495

thanks smoker, just saw them.

god, it looks so much cooler from the birds-eye. the pics in insider just changed my mind though. the cockpot is way too big. they should have either shrunk that or made the rest of the ship bigger...oh well...hope it looks better on screen.

large cockpit is a desperate attempt to make it look like a tie-fighter....

yeah, i got that impression as well....and it wasnt necessary.
GL just has to be sooooooo freakin obvious doesnt he?

the front window and fold out tie wings were quite enough for us to make the connection....but NOOOOO, GL has suddenly fallen under the dillusion that we all have a collective IQ of 50

I don't don't see the point of screwing with a design that was good already.
Why not just have actual proto-TIEs? There's no logic to a wedge design some how becoming a ball shape....

We would have been happy with the Y-Wings with their NO FOLDING BITS.

I wish the fighters were just TIE fighters to be honest.

It would have been so cool to have seen the JEDI of all people pilot the TIEs. Would have added a nice little surprise and all. But no, there goes Lucas with his "thinking too hard" cap on again - trying desperately to "blend" OT ships with PT technology and shape.

I would have also prefferred if the Storm Troopers weren't "halfway" between the OT stormies and the PT clones, but I can live with the constant "blending" because we get to see so much OT stuff return, such as BATTLE DAMAGE! AT LONG LAST! DIRTY SHIPS ARE BACK!

C3PO is gold, and Yoda is now a puppet (in some scenes at least), Darth Vader is God, and the Royal Guards are there.

But, those X-Wings and Tie Fighter "forshadowers" (there's that stupid PT word again) are the only things that are botherring me slightly. I was really hoping for sharp angles, rough design, bad paint jobs, and ships that look like they are made from a million tiny pieces.

I agree red superfly, as i've said before the Y wing would have been ideal cause it has that been around for 20 odd years look to it instead of these little references to the OT in the ships

This movie needs clean, new Y-wings. Not a badly designed mess like the new Jedi fighters.....

100% agree i do

I will forward this to myself!!! 😮‍💨 😎

A beautiful ship, 5 previous owners, 1,000,000 light years, totally retrofitted with new astromech, classic ship insurance, first to see will buy

"no, its a short range fighter"

i guess we know how ben has knowledge of this now...but why the hell couldn't they have made the cockpit smaller. if it were just another ugly PT ship, i wouldnt care, but this one had the potential to be really cool.

Seeing that pic makes me realise just how cool those ships were.

They were one of the least impressive ships of the OT - but if they were in the PT at all, they'd blow every other design out of the water.

Yeah the only ship in the PT that is half decent is the sith infiltrator!!

Here's another

naaah, the sith infiltrator sucked too, its just looked cool next to all the other crap.

I bet if Lucas made Star Wars A New Hope today, he'd have the Y-Wing fold up it's wings, like the freakin enterprise, and when it comes into land, it sprouts skeleton like legs (because Lucas seems to love his skeleton shaped robots), it's head rotates and it becomes Optimus Prime, all the while firing Astromech Droids out of it's chrome plated, smooth and non-damaged ass.

DAMN!!!! theres an image for ya 😄

GL- "i'm working hard to make sure that every little trivial thing from the OT is tied into the PT...but most of all, i am avoiding any creativity in ship design."

well....he may as well say that

😉

I always thought the Naboo Royal Starship was cool, it kinda reminds me of the SR-71 Blackbird, and also the spaceship from "Flight of the Navigator".
