yes they do but not all of them believe it and some do. the bible is about faith doesn't need facts for a person to believe it and the Jewish people had this all wrong when they questioned Jesus about this. God is about faith not physical things, people asked jesus for signs but jesus said no. Thomas came to jesus and touch his wounds and finally believed but jesus said that he only believed because he saw his wounds but blessed is the person who believes but doesn't see it.

Blind faith... How many good people have been used to do evil things by the implementation of blind faith. The terrorists on 9-11 had blind faith.

the terrorists knew what they were doing, they didn't do it because of religious reasons are freedom. they did it because the world trade center had alot to do with their oil and they were taking it from them. Most of the middle east depends on oil for survival. America has oil to use put uses the middle east because it is cheaper.

Here you might have a point. However, I have personally seen blind faith used to destroy people, so I reject blind faith. Now, a leap of faith is not the same as blind faith and I think that Jesus was talking about a leap of faith.

true, the media says the America is fighting for freedom and stuff like that but that isn't true. America earned their freedom during the revolutionary war. the terrorist are not a major threat to anyone, they don't have enough equipment to start world war three. all they have is bottle rockets to shoot at us. they had basically enough equipment to get America's attention. They simply want their oil left alone. They never knew how to respond to the us. they knew violence was the only thing that would sum it up. really something happened years ago that the us did something wrong in the middle east that this happened and it would never have happened if the us did something about it in a good way. terrorists aren't terrorists for a reason. Basically it all goes back to the money deal. oil=money=car=low gas prices. the u.s can make a a fossil fuel but it is cheaper just to get oil.

A leap of faith, what is the difference between a leap of faith and blind faith? I believe that the Lotus Sutra is the teachings of Buddha, but if I were to find that this is not true, then I would not believe it to be true. This is a leap of faith, I believe something I can not prove but I am open minded and always searching and verifying. Blind faith is believing that the Lotus Sutra is the teachings of Buddha and no matter how much contrary information I find, I still believe it.

If you found that Jesus lied to us, would you still believe in him?

Jesus cannot lie because God doesn't lie. If so then the religion would be destroyed because people would have found out it was. I believe what is true because it came from the bible and I don't need evidence to prove it. it comes down to faith in it.

The answer to my question is... Yes!

You my friend are a person who has blind faith. Please try to not let anyone control you, cause you are very controllable right now.

what do you mean blind faith? are you trying to say what I believe is wrong and I should throw it away. no one controls me and what I say

No, I would never tell you that you are wrong about your faith, who am I to know. Help me show you what I mean; did you know that women are not to speak in church and must keep their heads covered at all times. I ran into this a long time ago, can you help me find it? I think it was in one of the letters to the Romans or something.

Paul said it...book

I forgot about that, but in the church that is a heated debate.

There is no debate; if women talk in your church, then you must leave that church.

no, it was just a middle eastern custom paul was saying. most middle eastern women don't have the same rights as men.

Do you see what I mean? I don't think my statement above is true, but I could control you with it.

You have rationalized the bible.

not really, true women should leave if Paul says so but that is not an American custom and Paul was from the middle east.

no I never did, the middle eastern women and from Asia don't have the same rights. I know because they do the same things thousands of years ago.

Enough... Do you see what I mean? I have seen people use this kind of control to destroy life. I wish great happiness.
