I put alot of thought into wht jinzin posted earlier about disregarding personalities and how that is NOT something we should do and I would have to say that he is correct.
The thing is though that by making heroes fight heroes to the death in this forum and without holding back we are not changing their personalities because holding back is not a personality trait, its an inhibition.
Inhibitions are thrown out in these battles because with them intact heroes will never destroy each they will join forces and find a way to make all of our computers explode in our faces for trying to make them battle to the death.
Inhibitions determine how much anyone holds back and we have determined that both sides will go all out.
Spider-man's inhibitions keep him from being a head splattering murderer but he is very capable of striking any human with enough force to cause internal bleeding wherever he connects.
I do hope that we can refrain from inhibiting the capabilities of heroes and saying that we are simply cinsidering their personality. Personality would determine whether or not a combatant rushes into combat without formulating a plan ( HULK ) or whether a combatant is a tactical fighter that formulates plans and analyzes an opponent (Cap).
Batman can win only 10% of the time in a fight like this and I may be giving him more credit than he is due considering the abilities of his opponent and the fact that said opponent is not inhibited.

Because you know its true. Even though you put up good arguments, you doubt Batmans Abilitys.Batman Wins at least 4/10. Spiderman wins more but but that if hes using all his strength and dont pull back
Sorry, you do put up a good argument, but I feel I've doubted nothing. I think that spiderman simply wins more because in such a setting not by comic entertainment, silly haymakers and such, that had counters and parries etc. That batman is a great fighter, but great fighters are doable and done in this world, even those who pass most human expectations.
That being said however, I fight. If I were to fight up a person with twice my ability, but I could sense his attacks, and also react with at least 15x reflexes( a HUGE AMOUNT, to be able to react 2x fast is very rare, 15x and up is beyond our comprehension). I were to have strength, and webbing that had the tensile strength of 120,000 lbs per square METER, and If i were to be able to crawl walls etc. I would be outmatching the other and would be the one put on the bets. Or better yet be the one written to lose.
Batman can win, and I like him very much, but I simply don't see this in a hand to hand confrontation. Take the ailens for example and place them hand 2hand with a marine, not very pretty. Even though a marine can fight SKILLFULLY, they are simply overwhelmed by the prowress of an ailen, along with the speed and such, and spidermans more dangerous, strong etc. than an ailen. Add inprecognition, and put him in bloodlust( forum guidelines), and bat is simply overwhelmed in hand2hand, because he has not enough options.
Batmans victory lies on the chance of him hitting/ by the chance of what is in his belt, thats a low outcome in my opinion.
To misters post, yea to remove the personalities isn't fair, but we go by forum guidlinnes, and the ones placed by the match. If you see, it says explicitly "bloodlust", and that means spiderman is fighting at his best, and the guidelines suggest this is a random matchup, which works against bats as well. I don't see whats in his favor.
Great post,Batman wins, an the MISTER! 😮💨

It also depends on the area they fight in. If they fight at night in area thats not wide open, then spiderman is screwed.
He would be forced in a hand 2 hand, which works against him, I simply disagree, bats would be better off outside, but spidey's also better off where he can move.

Batman Wins if Spiderman Was at night win a non open area. Batman would use stealth and then catch Spidey offf gaurd with mutiple explosive Batrangs. SpiderSense cant dodge them all. In the comics he says my spidersense then gets hit anyway. The Punisher almost killed Spiderman aswell
Understood but the dark matters not with stealth, spiderman could do this blindfolded, and remove 1 of his non movement powers.
Pre cognition and strength are some cream on the cake and quite overkill.
Using explosives and gases in a closed area, only makes it worse on him.
I disagree, this relies on chance, he doens't know the guy and spiderman dodges things you wouldn't believe, if bats is in the open, it fails. If bats uses stealth spiderman has the walls, spidey has too many advantages even without prior knowledge, and isn't as tactical but can think on the fly just like Batman.
Spider-Man would probably beat Batman. It also depends on the environment. If it was in a somewhat non-open space, and also at night, Batman's chances double. If it is out in the open in broad daylight, Batman would have to use everything in his arsenal to be able to escape, because he would probably lose...

All in all, I would say Spider-Man wins almost all the matches, but Batman would give him one hell of a fight before he goes down.
I edited this...
Hmmm... at least people are starting to accept the fact that Batman would most likely lose. No one has ever denied that Batman can win.
His chances rest almost entirely in his gadgetry. Despite his superior technical fighting skill, Batman overall is the less efficient fighter in this match-up due to every aspect of Spiderman's physicality being enhanced.
