I simply wanted to show that someone with greater durability and strength than spiderman was defeated in hand to hand combat by Batman.

As for gadgets, why whould they be of no use? Pumpkin bombs work often against Spiderman. Batman is also a more capable assailaint than the Goblins when it comes to projectiles. It stands to reason for me that the Batman's gadgetry will play a pivotal role in a fight between the two.

The gadgets would be of no use in my eyes because Spider-man's fighting style. He doesn't exactly stay in one place. Him getting hit by one of Batmans bombs are very unlikely. As for Batmans other gadgets, they would be pretty useless if Spider-man manages to actually web him up. Spider-man often uses his web to disarm enemies which could also happen if he and Batman were to fight.

the probability of that happening every high indeed....but then again you have the fail safes on batman's suit.

Batmans power pretty much comes from his gadgets. Spider-man takes that away the battle's won.

Edit: The utility belt I mean. Batman - Utility belt = lose

From what I have seen batman true power lies in his brain....followed by his wallet size....however you have to realize that the belt is not just going to come off simply because spiderman hooked it with his web shooters and yanked it...

I think we've covered all facets of what could actually happen.

And I think it's pretty much established that if Spiderman webs Batman (Which could easily happen since he wont be expecting it) The fight would be over.

Even some of the most adamant Batman defenders still have Spiderman winning more often then not.

batman has some good fighting skills and all that but he doesn't have any powers. he wins most of his fights from using all the toys he has down in his pants. he takes out bat boomerangs out of his underwear and throws them at guys but he hardly ever uses his bare hands. and spider man has better fighting skills then batman. i know most of you would disagree just cause batman is more popular today with his movies and all that

Batman never uses his hands? Why kind of pea-brained dip-shit moron are you? The man can punch through concrete! He's the most superb h2h combatant on the planet. He's so skilled, that with the aid of his "toys", he can take on enemies that Superman would have a tough time with...

you do remember the electric fail safe on batman's suit.. right when activated in the case when spiderman turns him into a mommy he could activate it thus causing the webs to dry off....and yes on your part if batman gets turn in to a spider web mommy without this particular fail safe the fight with spiderman would be over

Actually i don't think that electricity would have much of an effect on the webbing cos i think the webbing is an insulator.....

Yeah, because you know, those Spider webs never work on villains like Electro or the Shocker....I'm pretty sure those two pack a little more punch than Batman's fancy suit too.

i think you got the moron thing upside down dumbass. bat man does have some fighting skill but not as good as spiderman and how the hell can he beat superman ? he doesnt have any powers dumbass. and batman needs a partner to back him up like robin for example. superman take care of things all by himself

good point but like your saying that batman has that protective suit and bullet proof vest cause his body isn't that strong. spidermans costume isn't very protective of him he just has a stronger body then batman
