Villain For Spider-Man 3?

How the hell can you fight a guy that dissolves when you hit him but hardens when he hits you. I have a feeling this wont be a good fight as there wont be enough action on screen. Sandman will probably get defeated with a hosepipe.

But anyway, I have a feeling that Sandman will not be defeated by Spidey alone. Either with the help of Osborn, Venom (yick!) or the ever-faithful vacuum cleaner!

If Topher ain't a villain, I see Sandman beating Spiderman up, and Harry realizing he was wrong helps Peter after he has done fought him too. Harry dies, but so does Sandman.

Doubtful. Sandman is a mediocre villain, so I know it's not gonna be just him. I mean, You'd have to have a huge villain like Venom to sell the movie. Heck, even another Green Goblin (HARRY ISN'T THE F*CKING HOBGOBLIN!) isn't enough, mostly because he needs to go through the struggle of taking up the mantle, similar to what he did in the comics and Spidey did with his own powers in the second movie, and in ASM #50, Spider Man no more. So, Venom is honestly the best way to go, and I bet Sam Raimi had to finally realize that when it came to this movie. However, I'd hope that bringing in the symbiotes would allow crossovers, like the F4 coming in.

Crossover won't happen and Venom might be the worst way to go. Squeezing a villain in and leaving the whole other part of the story out is not good. Harry was struggling at the end of 2. He will become the Green Goblin and I believe Sandman will be a minor villain. Topher should be Electro. That would be the best way to go for this certain situation.

According to a few internet sites Dunst let slip in an interview that the villains will be Venom and Sandman and the internet movie database also has Venom listed for Topher Grace and Sandman for Thomas Haden Church.
