DO NOT underestimate them... fear i got woopped easy by them on the net fear the teleporting ability is very dangerous.

yeah, if they're anything like they are in the actual table top game they can be the most dangerous unit in the entire game. they have special abilitys to be able to retry their attacks because they can forsee the future and get more saving dice rolls because they can forsee their enemys next attack. add some really powerful mental attacks and some power weapons and they can take on most units (even a bloodthirster)

Warhammer 40K is one of my favorite RTSs. I love this game.

Eldar are cool. Don't diss them.
I just use squads of Spec Ops(as i like to call them) space marines, both in DoW and the tabletop game. Works many a time.

got to get myself a copy of this game sometime, dont have the funds or the time to play it at the moment, which sucks bigtime

Im thinking about getting this game....well, Ill be getting Mark of Chaos and I was thinking about maybe getting this too....but what is this game like? It looks pretty cool from what I've seen in screenshots, is it worth buying?

Buy the new expansion set, Dark Crusade. It's supposed to be excellent, and you don't need the original game to play it.

Backfire, you should mention next time that in multiplayer you can only play Tau and Necrons if you buy only Dark Crusade. You must acquire the original dawn of war to play the 4 original races online and the expansion if you want to play as the Guard online.

I got Dark Crusade the other day and I'm loving the new campaign style. I wasn't a fan of the campaign in the other games, never really got into the story and what not.

The new races are both great, The Tau are awesome, but man, the Necrons are a bit overpowered. I can't see a decent player losing with the Necrons in a multiplayer match.

I did. They're actually quite balanced, but it takes it bit to get their style down. I've also won a few games with them. But, I'm a Tau player at heart. 😄

I really like the Tau, I wish they had a turret, though.

isnt the Deamon prince the new unit for Chaos..whats he like, ime in UK so its not out for another week yet for me, however i love chaos so whats the Deamon prince like, how do u use him, surely hes a bit unbalanced due to the fact hes like a second super unit?

also how you get him, i want to know everything about it
