Sweet,
I like thriteenth step better than Mer De Norms,
Blue or The Noose or Outsider are my favorites...
or.....
Emotive was strange,
For a covers album it was good, there were some flops, but overall ok. I like Fiddle and Drum becuase i thought it shows his talent, his range, he can do the screaming emotional Tool stuff, but then calm down and make some nice harmonies too. But as a maynard APC/Tool standards album, dissapointing indeed. We just expect a level of Greatness out of everything he touches, and when he falls short, like in emotive, we are disappointed.
(anyone buy Amotive? its really worth the 20 bucks....)

Definitely get Mer De Noms. Thirteenth Step is better, but it's totally different. And don't listen to these fools, 3 Libras is nowhere near the best song on there 😛
And yeah I have Amotive, it's not bad, but I kinda expected more.

I like eMOTIVe, it has a couple great tracks, and at least one or two really crappy ones. aMOTION (the DVD 😉) is worth getting though. It has commentary from both Billy and Maynard on (almost) all the videos. It also comes with a remix CD that's kind of interesting... The best track on it is "The Hollow" with just a piano and Paz doing the vocals.
pinch Amotion, thats what I meant. The cover is beautiful droolio
Haven't actually watched it yet though.
Rose Rose Rose! That's my favoritist by far. It's like one of those old super long progressive/psychadelic rock songs, with folky guitars, solos, strings, echoey sound effects and vocal driven sections except it's all packed perfectly into 3 minutes. It's splendid blushing Thomas is my second fave.
Emotive, I like Lets Have A War, Freedom Of Choice, Annihilation, Imagine.
I love Peace Love & Understanding, Gimme Gimme Gimme, Passive.
People Are People is ok. The other 4 are horrible.
Shame that APC have disbanded for a while. Actually, I take that back. I'm glad.
They were all getting lazy and bored for various reasons, no one knew who was permanently in the band and everyone had other important stuff to be doing.
"eMOTIVe" wasn't half bad. It was way below APC's ability but then again if any other band put out that exact same album it would sound alot shitter IMO.

"eMOTIVe" is a let-down really. There's some good tracks but besides that, all I ever play it for now are "Passive" and "Imagine".
I supported APC by buying it but it's the only CD by a band I truly love that I'd download rather than buy if I knew the quality of it. I'll send it to you if you want.
