Nah, "Final Warrior (Mystic Gohan)" is indeed stronger than Super Saiya-jin 3 Goku.
Evidence #1 - Goku states that a fighter stronger than himself will fight Buu in two days, namely Gotenks (and Goku said this with no idea that Gotenks would be able to become a Super Saiya-jin 3), Mystic Gohan is both stated and shown to be stronger than Super Saiya-jin 3 Gotenks.
Evidence #2 - Goku stated that both Vegeta and himself would surely be defeated if they fought Super Buu. Mystic Gohan completely dominated Super Buu.

As for Mystic Gohan being able to beat Kid Buu, I'm not so sure 😬, though I'd like to see Super Vegito fight him. 😛
Gokou couldn't beat Kid Buu either and Gokou never went ssj3 against Super Buu yet there were able to survive for longer at ssj then Vegeta did against Kid Buu at ssj2. I don't think Gohan could beat Kid Buu but that's just me. I think Kid Buu is stronger than Super Buu if not stronger than Gohan then as strong.
Though yea Vegetto would be overkill against Kid Buu. You never see Kid Buu, nor Vegetto's full power though but I doubt Kid Buu would be that strong.
Gotenks was as strong as Super Buu at SSJ3 but the person who Gokou says is stronger than him is Gotenks though. And Super Buu was taking out Gokou and Vegeta when they were SSJ but Kid Buu nearly killed an SSJ2 and didn't have much trouble against SSJ3. Though we've not seen Gokou at full power, Kid Buu at full power, or Vegetto at full power both Gohan and Gotenks are suppose to be stronger than Gokou which means that Super Buu should be stronger than SSJ3 Gokou but Kid Buu is also stronger than SSJ3 Gokou. So Kid Buu is hard to place at weaker or stronger than Super Buu.

Gokuu could have finished off Kid buu, but he hasn't gotten the chance yet. He needed a minute to gather his ki. Gokuu says it was much easier when he was dead, and Super Saiyan 3 really eats up the ki of a living body. So, Goku lost his power and couldn't finish Buu off.
And no, Mystic Gohan would wasye Kid Buu as well as Super Saiya-jin Goku 3! He was killing Super Buu, who is stronger than both did you not read the Manga or watch the Anime??!!
Vegeta and Gokou both thought they could take him staying at ssj also until he made a blast they couldn't stop. Gokou was also cocky when he went SSJ3 thinking he could take Kid Buu yet Kid Buu fell asleep at the start and doesn't even do anything remotely close to the the blast he did that destroyed Earth that Gokou knew he couldn't stop. Kid Buu wasn't going all out. Gokou was going all out as much as he could. Gokou could not have beat Kid Buu just by going full power when Kid Buu wasn't even going full power and wasn't loosing any energy while fighting a Gokou who was trying his hardest to win. There is no way to know if Gohan could beat Kid Buu or not. Gokou thinking he could win by going full power means little when he was getting his butt handed to him by a Kid Buu that wasn't going all out either and still managed to nearly kill SSJ2 Vegeta and Fat Buu. Gokou didn't even attempt to go SSJ3 against Super Buu nor did Vegeta even go SSJ2.
