Doubt it. If Goku's Kamehameha couldn't kill Cell Vegeta's Final Flash would not have done it. When Goku emerged from the ROSAT, he was far above Vegeta, so yeah, it wouldn't have worked.

True, but I could've seen Cell regenerating had he taken a lot more damage. Afterall, his self destructive blast was pretty damn powerful, and he came back from being a very tiny cell. Even so, I felt that if Vegeta hadn't gotten Gohan injured, Cell would've still lost in an all out fall.
I think this film will be good(Akira is certainly hyping it as such.)
However, what I really want to see is something new(ability-wise.) I'd rather not see Goku defeat Bills and Wiss with a Kamehameha and/or Spirit Bomb, like he's done with nearly every opponent he's ever faced. I want something new/fresh. Aside from that, I really hope none of the characters' powers get neutered-- I'm most worried about Gohan where that's concerned(for obvious reasons.)
I can't wait to see how it goes. But I don't understand how Gohan is super saiyan, and Vegeta is wearing saiyan armor. I really don't see how this will play out though without some major plot decive OR Gogeta if Bills defeats ssj3 Gokou easily and then the rest of the Z fighters.

If they pull the fusion card again, they really need to have Goku and Gohan fuse to spice it up a bit. Just like the Kamehameha and Spirit Bomb dues ex machinas, a Vegeta/Goku fusion has become stale, imo.

And the other guy(Wiss) looks like he came straight out of a hardcore anime. He doesn't fit the DBZ 'style' at all... I do like the God of Destruction angle though.

Wow, this sounds like such an original premise for a DBZ villain, and not at all a shameless attempt to copy and then one-up Majin Buu.
DBZ's quality was on a decline since the Freeza saga (Aka the peak of the series), but this... This is something else.
Also, Galan, if this main villain is capable of destroying a galaxy, then you don't have to worry about DBZ's power being neutered. It just skyrocketed upwards.
Ha, I was just about to say the same thing. To Bills' credit, though, V-Jump has already stated him to be the most powerful being ever seen in Dragonball proper: "Bills is without a doubt the strongest being in the history of Z."

Yes he can. If no-one can stop someone, that person can go around across the entire universe using as much planetary destruction as they want. Especially if they have a whole organization and army behind them conquering less defended planets in their wake.
The DBZ universe only has a mere 4 galaxies after all. An empire conquering the whole thing isn't too crazy.
