Maybe nature doesn't encourage it. I am not of that particular view.

Although your second paragraph possibly answers your third.

I don't believe that contracting an STD..is a sign of "Evolutionary population control." Many STD's are not actually fatal..and individuals who contract them can still produce offspring that are not even carriers of the disease.

Neither do I, funnily enough.

So you could get an erection while looking and thinking about two males having sex if you wanted to?

I could if I choose to do so. If choose to think about this act habitually..in order to get an erection. Then I could probably get dependant on this thought process to achieve an erection.

Case in point..the more I engage/entertain my thoughts about doing something..the more likely I'll be to do that something. Simple logic.

I have never engaged sexual acts with another man. And even if I did, yeah it'd be my choice to do so, but it wouldn't be my choice to want to do so.

Contradictory logic based on assumption. There is no real substantive scientific evidence linking "homosexuality/lesbianity" as being biological/genetic conditions. However, you are welcome to your belief...just as much as I am welcome to mine.

I wonder how this thread got so many pages... there's no scientific evidence to support either of the theories, both sides are completely sure they are right.
No one is going to change anyone's mind specially not whob's.

All I can say is I am gay and I am sure I did not choose to be gay, if there was a choice I bet I would've decided to be straight.

On a slight side note, you are 14 (today) right?

Do you feel certain that homosexuality is immutably the way your sexuality will be aligned?

For everyone arguing with WHOB, I would recommend not wasting my time. Not only is he the ultimate debator, but he has NEVER been proven wrong! There have been countless times where I had an opinion on a certain matter, thinking myself totally secure in my opinion, and then Whob came along and totally blew my mind! with his wise and learned points of view.

And he knows his facts. I am often left in AWE! of his historical and scientifically supportable FACTS! Unlike most people here on KMC, whob never makes anything up to support his arguments. Both his opnion and his arguments are air-tight and undisputable.

I don't see how my age is relevant in the discussion.
I've always been gay, always will be.

It's relevant because it's known to be a period of possible indecisiveness vis a vis sexuality.

I'm mature enough to understand I'm gay and there's no changing.

Ok, well that's what I was asking.

Not very often. And now isn't one of those times.

Actually, satire often does equate to the truth...in an exaggerated sense.

You sound exactly like a friend of mine. He went on and on the other night about how I was a closet case homosexual sexual sadist-masochist who would needed to get laid. Badly. And how he could help hook me up with some people.

The things I tolerate...

Friend and tolerate are rarely used in the same sentance with any measure of accuracy...

So, who's splitting hairs now, eh?
